Came here cause I saw it on Tik Tok. Did not disappoint. Made reservation for late morning but didn’t realize Sunday Lunch wasn’t served til 1:00pm. They were so good, we ordered coffees and bananas bread and then came back at 12:45 and they seated us no problem. It was well worth the wait! Will be back when back in London.

A great place to wind down on Friday evening for some drinks, dinner, dessert and coffee. The atmosphere is totally chill. Staffs are very attentive, easy-going and provided superb service. Food quality definitely worth the price. From someone who grew up in the Kiwi land, this was the perfect home away from home cuisine. I would definitely love to visit The Laundry again!

I met a couple of friends there for lunch on a Monday. Excellent location next to Brixton Market. The building is beautiful; I'd love to live there! Out the front, they have plenty of seating for alfresco dining with large parasols above. Inside is style with a luxe-industrial vibe. Downstairs is a private dining area. My partner and I shared a few veggie dishes including Burrata with Peas, Broad Beans, Lemon, Mint, Buckwheat (nice combination).Vegan Sweetcorn Fritters paired with a Heritage Tomato Salad with a gorgeous Green Goddess Dressing (lovely sweetcorn fritters but not overly filling so order a starter or pudding). Cauliflower Cheese with Sage and Truffle in the Gratin (this was large). Fries (fab but small portion). Small Lemon Tart (amazing pastry). Coupe Danemark with Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce, Whipped Cream and Afghan Honeycomb. The person serving was helpful and friendly.

Just a wonderful place to dine out. Went there in May for my birthday and then again last week for our anniversary. Tuesday is BYO!! Such a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.

Been meaning to come here for ages! It was quite a treat, and for a Saturday, it wasn't too busy, which in fact, made it really lovely. A lovely selection of drinks across the board had non alcoholic beverages, which was a nice change! I went for the Pork belly, fries and cauliflower cheese 🙏 The service was excellent, lovely staff, and they always checked if you wanted something etc. Beautiful and welcoming bar as you walk in. Also downstairs seating area was lovely and looked like it could be used for particular occasions. It's a short walk from Brixton and underground stations, super easy to get to. Solid A***** for the all round experience. LDT x

For a Sunday brunch / roast, I think this place is spot on; quality produce, well made, nothing too fancy. Good selection of cocktails too. The brunch menu could perhaps be a bit more extensive. The staff were reality lovely and the venue is well located near to lots of other Brixton cafes, eateries and pubs next door.

We tried this place just off the Brixton market for Sunday roast. We were greeted by really friendly staff, and were then seated by the bar table. All staff were super friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We had the leeks and trout to start. The leeks had a great balance of the vinaigrette and crispy breadcrumbs to delight, the trout had a really deep, rich smokey taste and the whole dish was really well seasoned. Main course, we had beef and pork. The meats were cooked to perfection, succulent and pork had a really moist and soft texture. All the vegetables were cooked and seasoned well (and apparently you can ask for more veg!) and the really delicious gravy! The cookie was nice but personally I’d want the cookie to be a bit gooey-er as it was more crispy like biscuits. But overall it was a really pleasant visit and would definitely recommend the roast here!

We have been meaning to come here for the last year but never got round to it. Really glad we finally managed it as the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We had breakfast on a Sunday, always a busy time in Brixton. The Laundry was very busy, but there was room for us inside where we sat at some stools. I had the veggie breakfast which is the best one I've ever had. Extremely tasty. Coffee was very nice as well. Service was with a smile and we were made to feel very welcome.

Went here for a Sunday Roast! We ordered the pork belly one with a side of cheese cauliflower, both tasted good and the portion is large! Love the ambiance in the resto and would definitely come back but remember to book in advanced as they’re usually packed :)

Had a pleasant time at the laundry. Arrived just at 1 and so missed the brunch menu which was a shame as I personally liked more of what was on there and it felt better priced. The lunch / dinner menu was a bit pricier than ideal but still good food. All of the party enjoyed their meals and the service was warm, even though sometimes they had forgotten they had taken an update to the order. No major issues though and would visit again.

On a rare Saturday off from work I took my partner out for some brunch. I decided to try The Laundry. Even though I hadn’t booked we were welcomed with a smile and asked to just bare with them to organise a table for us ( it was a busy beautiful sunny morning) . Once seated and comfortable we received great service throughout and the food was delicious. Highly recommend The laundry breakfast 👌 and my partners banana bread with honeycomb butter was amazing 😋 , definitely go back soon and recommend to all.

I had a very lovely meal here this week. The avocado on cornbread was very filling and a great vegan option. I really liked the charred corn which was quite flavourful. I also liked that they were considerate enough to have blankets at every table outside. The service was also excellent. This would have been five stars if the coffee was better. It was quite bland.

We booked the Laundry for our post-wedding brunch and couldn’t be happier with the choice. Throughout the process they were super helpful and responsive. On the day itself we had the whole of the lower ground floor and the food was just what was needed after a boozy wedding! (Special mention to the hash browns)

A really lovely place - Table de Carmen (semi private table up to 20 people) downstairs is the perfect place for a special occasion, and the set menu for £35pp is great value with delicious food. The servers are all lovely and so accommodating and the atmosphere is fantastic.

I visited for a celebration with friends on a Saturday afternoon in May. We had the private dining area downstairs booked. The staff were excellent - super friendly and very good at their jobs. The food was delicious, perfect for sharing with a large group. We had a great afternoon.
