Fast service and healthy food. You know somewhere is a health focused eatery when they don't serve fizzy drinks like cococola and they bring sugar to your table on request. Most items on the menu are vegetarian friendly with more vegan options than the average menu. There was the odd bit of chicken and salmon and one dish with chorizo but little meat on the menu. They had some nice looking donuts and cakes at the front counter which I will try on my next visit . I had a smashed avocado on charcoal toast with salmon and a poached egg which was really nice. It was covered with Macha mayonnaise.... which was ok and added a subtle green tea style flavour to the dish.

Popped in on a whim - very glad we did. This is a spacious casual restaurant, with a friendly welcome from the staff and an interesting menu. We had the beetroot hummus and feta, and the mushrooms with shallots topped with sour cream. They were freshly prepared and delicious, with excellent coffee after. Prices were reasonable for the location and the quality of food, and the bathrooms were spotless. A great addition to the area - recommended!

For me, Avocado Garden is a breath of fresh air. I like to eat healthily and organically when I can, so it’s difficult to find somewhere that fits the bill in this area. I was looking forward to this place opening and it didn’t disappoint. As well as being a nice space the food is really good, and I like the unusual spices and ingredients the chef uses. If you feel like indulging, the avocado ice cream is to die for - seriously! the young lady that served us said they use local ingredients and suppliers, so that gets my thumbs up for sure. Although not much of a coffee drinker, I did like their brand, lots of flavour and a bit of a kick! All in all, I’d say well worth a visit and I hope they do well. 👌

Absolutely brilliant cafe/restaurant in Blackheath. Some really fantastic vegetarian options which are a great choice for breakfast or brunch. The food is really good with some alternative takes that you wouldn't normally think of. Portion size is great, enough to keep you full and great either for ordering dishes for yourself or to share as a group. Staff are absolutely lovely and really care about the food and the service. Do takeaway coffee and are dog friendly.

Avocado Garden is an amazing place to eat. The atmosphere is so welcoming I did not want to leave. The service was excellent food was amazing and you have to try the Vegan cakes especially the carrot cake. The icing on the cake was Peter the owner, he was such an amazing host. Thank you

Amazing food, we will definitely go back. I had the smoke salmon dish and it was delicious!! Smoked salmon was so fresh and mouth watering, the chargrilled bread was so teasty, the eggs perfectly cooked and still soft inside. All ingredients were organic they claimed, so I think that reflects the prices. I agree portions are a bit small but I think they are working on this. They could also maybe improve the service by allocating waiters especific tables to wait and this will make a difference and speed up orders.

My friend and I went for a late lunch here. The food was really nice and the staff were lovely. Really enjoyed sitting next to the big open windows as it was a nice warm afternoon. Only issue we had was that the coffees we had were rather weak but that won't stop us from going back!

A wonderful spot right in Blackheath, perfect for lunch or tea with a girlfriend. The cakes are excellent with a large variety to choose from and the menu has a great mix of sweet and savoury. The new spring menu is out and looks divine. Definitely worth visiting when in the area

I really enjoyed my lunch at avocado garden. Is nice to see a place like this pop up in Blackheath. I was a fan of Giraffe but this is very welcome with all of vegan and healthy eating options available. I really enjoyed the Asian bowl I had. It was very tasty, especially if you enjoy fresh ginger. It was also very filling. The service was friendly but lacking in a bit of organisation, which will come in time I’m sure - since this only opened two weeks ago. I’d advise that each waiter is allocated set tables and they serve them, as I was asked the same questions repeatedly by different people. This wasn’t a problem but just an area for improvement! I’d also advise that when staff are taking breaks they don’t smoke directly in front of the window. I was full up from my lunch but I couldn’t resist taking away one of the delicious cakes, all of which were vegan. I tried the peanut butter jelly cake which was great! Very moist and not overly peanut battery, but very enjoyable! Thanks very much and see you again soon!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Arrived on a very busy Sunday afternoon but we were seated quickly and they’d managed to maintain space between people. Ordered the wild mushrooms, a sandwich, the Kids menu (goujons) and scrambled eggs. Everything arrived quickly and together, and tasted great. Just enough thyme in my mushrooms, the perfect amount of wobble on the eggs and the goujons were crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside. Portion sizes were pretty decent and our server was excellent; she remembered everything and was really friendly and polite. Busy cafes on a Sunday afternoon in Blackheath can be completely hit and miss. This was very much a hit 👍🏽

Always friendly and happy to see us come in. All member of staff make us feel very welcome and remember my daughter and I. Everyone makes a point of talking to us both and are all so friendly. We’ve tried most of the breakfast dishes and all have been faultless. So far a wonderful experience and will keep going.

My friend and I went for breakfast, the service was excellent. Very friendly owner. He happily accommodated the extras we wanted to the menu and I had the best coconut milk mocha I've had in a while. I would recommend supporting this new local business :)

Third visit now...all very positive The food is always good, the portion sizes are now sorted. They were small originally (I came in the opening week first time ) but now they are great. Service is little bit slow , but it’s got a lot better and always very nice. All in a all a nice place with good food and now good portions.
