I must say, I was pleasantly surprised on my first trip here. The food was delicious. Often in many restaurants, when you order noodles or rice dishes, there isn't much ingredients. This is not the case here. My noodles were full or chicken, vegetables and prawns. All very reasonably priced. Service was brilliant too. Well done and keep up the good work.

Very authentic place. We were recommended to visit this restaurant. There were a lot of locals who just came to enjoy food, Portions are really huge, so you can share one with a friend. Quite spicy and well made.

Was craving Singaporean/Malaysian favorites after travelling in Europe for a while and this was a good spot for some comfort food. I was a lil confused upon entering cos it looked more like a bar than a restaurant and the music was turned up too loud for dining and the lighting was rather dim. So we decided to move upstairs to a more normal dining space. We ordered their traditional Laksa (I changed my noodles to the yellow noodles), nasi lemak, gado gado, satay, Roti Canai to share. We each had a glass of Teh Tarik. Laksa - yum! The gravy was lighter than what I’m used to but very tasty and went well with the noodles. Good amount of ingredients. Nasi Lemak - the rice (the most important part!) was fragrant with light coconut flavour Gado Gado - the sweet peanut sauce was perfect with the boiled vegetables Satay - which was ordered as part of the appetisers came abit too late (after we had finished most of our meal) was thick and chunky. It was the least impressive of the lot but maybe cos we were too full to enjoy it. Roti Canai - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect with the curry dip. Teh tarik - was surprisingly good. I asked mine to be less sweet and it was done just right. Definitely worth a visit if you have a craving!

As Malaysian from KL, both me and my husband agreed thar their Hokkien noodle was the best outside of Malaysia. My 6 year old doesn't even want to share the noodles with us! Husband was craving for laksa and I wanted to try thier nasi lemak. The laksa was more like KL laksa, so that was perfect for us and we truly enjoy it. Sambal for nasi lemak is a bit blend but ok. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back to try other stuff on their menu.

Traditional laksa is great. We order the vegetarian Jungle laksa which is really delicious. Roti Canai (fried flat bread with curry dipping sauce) is a must-have too. I also like Malaysian three-layered tea (milk tea) and the “Laxsa lovers” cocktail which I have tried.

Highly recommended place to eat some laksa from the Kebun Teh district of Johor Bahru. I am from the Johor Bahru area so the taste was pretty close to something you would get from the stalls back in Malaysia. The laksa broth is not too overpowering on either the chilli or the coconut and offers a nice balance. The "kangkung belacan" was not as spicy and savory as I hoped for but it was still pretty yummy. The waiters were also very friendly too. For larger groups, it would be ideal to pre-book a spot.

Yummiest food ever !! We had lunch between the Harry potter shows. They were accomodating with time and food was absolutely yummy! The flavours was great, not bland at all. I would highly recommend roti kanai with chicken curry. The restaurent can be decorated a bit more, I thought it was bit dark but might be more lit up at dinner time.

Got the ‘Pad thai £13.50’. It had prawns, chicken and fish cakes in it. It was really nice. The prawns weren’t the freshest though and the pad thai noodles themselves were slightly overcooked. The service was really good but the restaurant could have been cleaner.

SO SATISFYING! The signature Traditional Laksa was very very yummy and fully loaded with chicken, prawns, fishcake, fishballs, Green beans, boiled egg, and the best ‘tau pok’ (fried puffed tofu) I’ve ever had. And I grew up in Malaysia and lived in Hong Kong for quite a few years. Tastes as authentic as I could hope for, though bear in mind “laksa” can mean many things depending on region [not sure where “Kebun Teh” is though lol]. I’m so stuffed and satisfied, but definitely need to come back and try the other things. The beef rendang looks very good.

I love this place! We ordered a lot tasty food here! We were recommended by a Malaysia friend. The laksa noodle is authentic and very tasty! Not very spicy for us! All the food were really good! The portion is okay. A decent place to have dinner with your friends or family!

Been here a couple of times; both pleasant. The Kirin lager is a nice smooth tasting Japanese beer of high quality. Small cosy place with an outdoor seating area available.

Stumbled across this place in Soho on a Friday night. My order of roti canai was spot on. The roti was crispy, flakey, and chewy with good flavour and wasn't excessively oily. The curry sauce was wonderful. Fried chicken was very good. The teh tarik tasted just like it is in Malaysia. We'd already had dinner so couldn't manage anything else but we'll be back for the laksa which looked great. The menu also includes Malaysian classics such as hainanese chicken, char kway teow, wat dan ho, and hokkien mee. There are a few tables on 2 floors. It was a bit dark and cramped, and the prices are a little steep but I guess that's to be expected in the current climate and in central London. Edited following a 2nd visit on a Wednesday evening for dinner before a gig nearby. It was packed at 7pm. We were seated upstairs and the 2 waiters couldn't keep up. We were served 2 of the 3 dishes we ordered and it became apparent that the 3rd order hadn't been put in and arrived 15 minutes later. The food was very good. Beef rendang was well flavoured. The laksa was pretty good, but also very close to a certain brand of make-at-home laksa kit you can get in some Asian grocery stores so it didn't taste particularly special. There was a good amount of fish balls, fish cake, prawn, and chicken. Unusually it came with green beans rather than bean sprouts. Overall recommended.

Genuinely love this place. It was recommended by brother in law and I have been here before with work colleagues, they loved the food here as well. Brought the family here this time, the beef Randang is to die for, plenty of flavor, spices and good portion size. Unfortunate my eyes are bigger than my stomach, I always order extra rice with this and force myself to finish it all, then need to be rolled out 😅😅. All the other dishes are very nice a well, my wife had the Nasi Lemak (traditional chicken), again, nice portion size and very very tasty. I would definitely recommend anyone fancy something different from Chinatown and try this out. It's quite a small establishment, so do book in advance. Will be back again with colleagues as they always talk about it. Nice work Laxsa!! Great place, great food. Oh, did I forget the customer service?!? Excellent and they really care!! Thank you.

In the West End to see a show and I saw that I had saved Laxsa Soho in Maps after reading an article. Booked a table and was seated quickly. The place was busy so is clearly a popular place to eat. We each ordered a Traditional Laxsa which came super quickly and was absolutely delicious. To drink, my husband had a beer and I chose the Pandan Leaf Collins which was delicious and a really different type of drink which I really enjoyed. 2 Laksa and 2 drinks came to around £50 which I think is very reasonable. The staff were really attentive and very friendly. Will definitely be returning!

We had the sesame salad, roti canai and the jungle lasksa. All were absolutely delicious. The sesame salad wasn't like anything we'd tried before and it was really tasty. Cold mushrooms, tofu and edamame with salad leaves in a sesame dressing. There aren't many vegetarian dishes marked on the menu so I wouldn't recommend it for vegetarians. I believe the roti and the laksa we had contained fish. We got there at about 7.30pm and it just in time because shortly after there was a queue and people starting have to wait up to 15 mins. Would definitely go back and try the assam laksa!

Food was tasty, thought the roti canai starter was particularly good with the curry sauce. Actually wish I'd ordered some curry to go with my noodle mains as I thought it was a bit dry by the time I got through the whole plate but was nice food on the whole and would happily go back again to try some more of the menu. There was a happy hour going on when we ate so 2 cocktails for £15 plus shared the starter and invidivual noodle mains came to <£30 per person and we were pretty satisfied with the amount of food. My criticisms around the atmosphere were it felt a bit cramped inside and toilets were about 3 floors up so not sure it would be great for people with mobility issues.
