We are regular at Nightingale Patisserie - it’s our end-of-the-week treat! Everything especially almonds croissant and apricot danish are irresistible! Best ever even better than in Italy.
We asked Dario to make our wedding cake. He’s incredibly creative. We told him how much we love his plum frangipan and he made this marvellous cake with that as base.

We’ve just moved to the area and stumbled across this cafe. An inviting authentic independent cafe with a distinctive Italian feel. Family run and full of character. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The pastries and cakes are to die for. We can’t wait to visit and become regulars :)

Surprisingly nice cafe off the beaten track! Baked goods were delicious, and good selection of both hot and cold drinks. Pretty crowded both outdoor and in the main indoor seating area (cafe is bigger than photos indicate), with lively and fun conversations. Definitely worth a visit.
Just popped in to grab a coffee but saw the chocolate and almond croissants. It was truly delicious. So tasty that I'd eaten 3 quarters of it before I thought about taking a picture and by then, it wouldn't have done it justice. The place itself looks lovely, the people serving were friendly and the choice of mouthwatering pastries and goodies was excellent.
So glad I don't live that close or I'd be here constantly, which would not bode well for my waistline.
Very busy but a beautiful coffee and chocolate éclair. My friend had a coffee and croissant.
Absolutely delicious homemade cakes - particularly enjoyed the cheesecake but everything else was fantastic too.
Absolutely delicious sandwiches and sweet treats. We had a smoked salmon cream cheese bagel and a Parma ham baguette with blue cheese plus a small florentine, a vienese biscuit and some coffees. All perfect and really well priced. The highlight though was the service. All the ladies who served us were wonderful and really welcoming. They made a great fuss of our dog and she loved that. Will be back

We celebrated a 94 year olds birthday here, the food was delicious & clearly very fresh, also great value for money. The staff went above & beyond even singing happy birthday to the lady which she loved so much, I am truly grateful for their help & kindness it made her day very very special. Highly recommend anyone to try this place you will not be disappointed ❤
A wonderful independent cafe serving great cakes, pastries and lunch. We are impressed by how they’ve adapted during the pandemic, selling some groceries alongside their usual fare. The staff are always very friendly. They also offer delicious cakes made to order (and quiche) which is very useful!
They recently made an Italian celebration cake for my Mum's 70th birthday and it was incredible. Everyone loved it. I would definitely use them again in future. Thank you so much!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I am not a sandwich eater but they have converted me. Friendly and as Italian as you can be...please don't come here as I want it all to myself!!
Delicious coffee and pastries. The staff is very friendly and remembered us on our second (and subsequent) visit. It's makes going for morning coffee a pleasant time.

All our milestone birthday cakes over the years have been from this fantastic independent patisserie, they have always been of the highest consistant standard and deliciousness.
