If you are looking for some natural wines to try out, producers you never heard about and everything natural related this is one of the places in London with the best offer in my opinion. Western and Eastern Europe wine countries and some of the New world producers have been mapped out by the guys at Gnarly Vines. The selection offered is great! You can order online or visit the shop. They serve food!

There are wines there that are outside the budget of most of the area. That cannot be denied. But the big positive to me is when I have said my meagre budget to the assistant I've never got judgement or a lesser service. They were always really helpful. I'm born and bred Waltham Forest and have occasionally gone in dressed in just my tracksuit and never been greeted with anything less than a smile. To me that is worth a lot because I have gone into some of these new hipster places in Walthamstow and been treated really oddly as if I don't belong there. The wines are good. I couldn't afford to shop there on the reg but on special occasions over the years I've bought an orange flavoured wine, Marlbec, sweet Rose wines etc. They've always gone down well.

Gnarly Wines is an absolute gem. Fantastic knowledge & exquisite beer, wine & spirits across a range of budgets. The garden bar at the back is perfect for a snack, a by the glass offering and some serenity. You can even order in Yard Sale pizzas. Scott and the team are always super friendly and really take time with you to ensure you get that great drop. Can't recommend this place enough.

Really lovely garden in the back with super nice and knowledgeable staff who will recommend a bottle. I think corkage is £10 but there are plenty of wines under £20. Appears to be baby friendly if your baby is not being annoying 🙈.

A new and welcome addition to our local shops, Gnarly Vines is a great place to find good wine, helped by knowledgeable staff. Added bonuses include Today bread (if we go on a Saturday), some really good cheese and the best craft beer selection in the area. It's 'you get what you pay for' in as much as it can be a bit pricey but the wines we have purchased have been excellent and I can rely on them for a great choice of beer. Plus there is that nice feeling of supporting a local business. Highly recommend.

This is such a good addition to this end of Hoe Street- a gem on our doorstep. The staff are all super friendly and make great recommendations for unusual/out of the ordinary wines. Every bottle bought or drunk in the shop has been really special and its such a useful resource if you want to bring a bottle to a dinner which is guaranteed to hit the spot.

Absolutely love this place. There are no cheap wines but every bottle is selected carefully by the owners who REALLY knows a lot about wine, without any of the pretension or hard-sell. I only go there as a special treat, but compared to buying a bottle at a restaurant, you get amazing value for money. The best thing about it is that every time I go I learn something new and get exceptional advice on wine pairing. I have 100% confidence in the advice I get and love trying different wines they recommend. I only wish it was open later for the numerous occasions where one bottle has not been enough! But probably for the best :)

Such helpful service! I got in touch to ask for their help in sourcing some wines for a present for my sister's wedding (presents for anniversaries to come) and Gnarly wines recommended a perfect list to choose from and took the hassle away. Thanks so much!

The fact you see on the shelves author wines, meaning by it local grapes (Albillo, at this moment), it shows caring, plus is Olie from abroad, being as helpful and informative aa it goes, all with most importantly, filled with great music. Just the place one feels owning the moment. Thanks, big time. Btw, great great tunes!!
