Early evening on a Saturday the restaurant was quiet. The food was tasty, and cooked well. The service staff were distracted. Perhaps not enough to do, so they chatted with each other and didnt notice the customers. This meant that the service was unnecessarily slow. Our drinks, a zero beer and a tonic, took ages to arrive, the server admitted she had forgotten about us. She was chatting. Our food took awhile, served, couls we have a plate to go with the small plates, chipped potatoes and meatballs? Of course and sauce, yes please. "How long does it take to get a plate?" my dining partner asked? I went.across to the manager who had serves us, who was yes chatting. I'm just coming with the sauce and ive asked for a plate. She then delivered the plate with a look at her watch and ""4 minutes not bad"..really?! Certainly longer than 4 minutes from delivering the food, and yes, 4 minutes for a cold plate ia too long. Sadly we had not enough time for a pudding. 1 hour for a main course and a drink!

It’s a 5 star place, for it’s cleanliness and comfort, the place is quite spacious for meeting friends for a drink or meal, I recommend to come over around 14-15:00 less busy during this time

Very pleased with Davy’s in Greenwich! It’s a great wine bar and serves really good food. The staff are pleasant and attentive. Price is also very reasonable. It has a chilled out atmosphere and the decor is rustic giving the place good character. Definitely coming back here with the wife and friends.

Really fun experience! Nice guys running it. Some great wines. Would only suggest that some nibbles could be provided as I ended up having 9 wines (including aperitifs) and definitely needed something to soak it up!

For sure to recommend. Very friendly service, combined with a good variety of food. I always like it, when the menue card is not that large. On the opposite, the wine card is. 😀 Had some fish & chips, the cheese platter and some lager. Nice cosy evening at 25°C outside. I come back, if I can.

One of the best restaurants I have had in UK. The cod is fantastic with a brilliant sauce. The side of sausages is outstanding and spectacular. Services are excellent and detail minded. Will definitely visit again.

A great Italian wine tasting evening hosted by @Daniel Staicu at the Greenwich wine cellar. A fantastic range of wine accompanied by some delicious food. We really enjoyed the event in the private rooms. Thank you!

Fantastic evening.... Great rustic place, cosy area for a romantic dinner or larger tables for bigger groups.... Staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, not over the top. I had the aubergine linguine 😋👌🏼 was amazing, my partner had the steak, also gave it a thumbs up. Wine choice is obviously an extensive selection, we went for the Mount Brown Sauvignon Blanc.... Definitely order again!! Amazing outdoor area, dog friendly!

A great place to visit for lunch or dinner. And a superb party venue. A huge selection of fine wines and spirits to try. A relaxed environment to unwind with excellent service from knowledgeable staff, who make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. I highly recommend it

A wonderful warehouse of a wine vault on Greenwich High Road, close to the overground station or the DLR. A whopping cavern of a place with books and crannies suitable for groups of all sizes. There is seating outside in the front and a large beer (wine) garden out the back, this also has a number of old presses, scales and other machinery relating to what goes in the bottles. All good stuff. Plenty of food on offer too if you are hungry. The staff are great and eager to help. A superb place to visit whether on your own or with an ensemble (Don't forget the "Rule of Six" in these Covid days). As well as a wide selection of wines you can get beer from the Meantime Brewery and pretty much anything else you may like to drink. Out it on your list to visit!

Found this place by accident when waiting for my partner having his archery training. I wasn't really hungry by that time, but tempted to try their steak when saw that in the menu. I requested the steak to be cooke medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked the way I wanted. When it goes to wine, I usually use a mobile app to help me choosing the good ones, but when I was there, I just asked the waitress for her suggestions of my preferred taste of wine, and her choice was perfect! I loved it! The restaurant seating was nice, but the chairs were not the best for comfort. I had to move sitting outside after finishing my meal just to be able to sit comfortably even though it was a bit cold that night. However, the ambiance, the interior design, the ornaments, and the lighting was so chillaxing. I wish they had better chair and couch though to make it perfect.

Lovely staff (especially Suzie, Ollie, Eileen!), lovely atmosphere, feels spacious. We had a celebration dinner at Davy's last week and it was perfect. The staff added special touches to the table, the service was great and the food was spot on (3 courses each as well as meals for the kids).

Excellent wine bar in Greenwich - a long-standing institution. They've set up a lovely outdoor area in the back that is very COVID safe, with spacious seating and plenty of room. Great wine selection, of course, for any budget. Food is very nice to boot! All in all a lovely experience, time and time again.
