We’re just so lucky to have Good As Gold on our doorstep. It’s a fantastic cafe in the day - a perfect place to while away a Sunday morning over great coffee and reliably delicious brunch - but it’s the evening menu that really captivates. Every plate is perfect in its own subtle way, each dish a delicate celebration of seasonal produce. The atmosphere is also wonderful: welcoming in the day, romantic in the evening, and always so deservedly busy. Oh, and all dietary restrictions and allergies are sensitively accommodated - brilliant all round.

We had dinner at the restaurant on a Friday. The drinks selection was great with nice cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. The food is simple and greatly executed. The staff were very friendly. The whole atmosphere of the place is great with both indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely be visiting again.

Friendly staff, delicious food & great coffee options incl. quite a few beans to choose from for a V60. Came off-peak (right after opening on a Saturday) and service was excellent. Probably our favourite pancakes to date: fluffy and soft inside, bit crispy on the outside, tons of maple syrup & perfect with salty bacon.

It was worth the 35-minute walk from home. They had some poached eggs with n’duja on a lovely sourdough slice. It might have been better with runnier yolks, but I didn't let them know I preferred them that way. Latte and flat white were appropriately prepared. The guy on the counter was not that friendly, but maybe just having a bad day. The two waitresses were super friendly and provided some water for my dog.

Consistently awesome breakfasts! Smoothies are great too and anything on a brioche bun takes the dish to a new level (who are your suppliers, I want these buns at home!). Keep up the amazing work peeps

Excellent food and coffee. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly – I couldn't recommend this place more. Update: Recently came for the Thursday/Friday dinner menu and it was superb! Great curation of dishes with natural wines and cocktails. Plenty of vegan and veggie options too. Here’s the Negroni, stracciatella with peas and garlic, sourdough with whipped butter, saffron risotto with scallops, and Yorkshire rhubarb crumble with clotted cream ice cream..

Popped in to grab a coffee and saw the food so thought we’d give it a try. We got two sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious. OMG! One was mushroom and truffle, a must try.

I love this spot. I go there after my gym sessions. Their coffee is amazing, I usually get an iced latte. The staff are really niceand attentive and its a relaxed atmosphere. Its usually very busy in here on a Saturday but that is never off putting. Their breakfast roll is delicious. The sauce they use is magic 🤤.

Great place, good coffee and food. Packed with earnest late millennials and Gen Z’s hunched over apple laptops doing some creative thing (in my head anyway). Also me, a mid 50’s guy who wishes he were a Gen Z hunched over an apple laptop but without the crippling cost of renting in london. Visit, its great.

Breakfast with a difference! Absolutely superb. 2 jalapeño sweetcorn fritters. One with a hashbrown instead of a poached egg. Extra avocado is worth adding. Wonderfully helpful & friendly staff. Definitely worth 6 stars! Great Mint Tea too.

Popped in here on the way past for a batch filter - and boy was it tasty. Well worth a visit. Interiors and tunes were on point too.

Lovely staff, lovely food. Best coffee in Brockley period. Often a beer on draft plus curated cocktail menu during their evening opening hours. Highly reccomend :D :3 x

Went for dinner on one of their restaurant days. Amazing food for an excellent price. Dinner came to £117 for three people including a bottle of wine, a soft drink and the tip! Menu changes weekly so will happily go again!

Came for the evening menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. Good music but not too loud. Great service. The special cocktail was mezcal, pisco and blueberry and was really special. Great veggie options.

Brockley Biggie breakfast dish is amazing in terms of portion size and just so much stuff on the plate, although I wish the chorizo wasn't in big slabs because it's quite dense, would be nicer diced. Good coffee and really nice interior, lovely and bright on a sunny day. Looking forward to coming back.

A visually old-fashioned cafe. I like how they have small plants decorated along the window seats. Food and coffee were pleasing, the sweet chilli jam works surprisingly well with buttered sourdough and avocado.
