This is by far one of the nicest chilled relaxed environments with a fantastic host of Francesca and her sister and occasionally her mum make it a home from home and a fabulous place just to chill. Great tasting pastries, great tasting food and I have to say one of the best coffees in Crystal Palace. Love you ladies!

3 of us discovered this hidden gem on Anerly Hill today. At first you're met with a visual array of eclectic vintage items. Dotted around are lots of gifts to buy and as you study the space, this becomes more apparent. It feels like someone's front room and you begin to feel at ease. Then we were met with a fantastic menu of many enticing dishes. We opted for Buttermilk pancakes with natural yoghurt, maple syrup and berries, scrambled egg & crispy bacon on sour dough and homemade brioche French toast with bacon, banana and maple syrup. We had lattes and flat white coffee which. All were devourer and not a complaint was heard from any of us! We then spied the vast selection of home baked goodies and we decided to take home: Flourintine, blonde brownie, orange polenta cake and a huge coconut macaroon. We are discussing what to have the next time we go. Part of me wants to keep Crespidia to myself but it's really too good not to share! Visit, you won't be disappointed.

First visit to Crespidia on this beautiful Sunday morning and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful interior design using lots of reclaimed furniture, each table was different. The coffee was perfect, nice and strong. Excellent choice of cakes and pastries. I'm already planning my next visit!

It took us a while to check out this place but since we did a few months ago, we have become regulars. The interior is very welcoming and if you enjoy feasting your eyes on lots of little curiosities like plants, artwork, vintage cups and saucers then you'll enjoy this place. There's some gorgeous vintage clothing as well, reasonably priced too. It has a lovely atmosphere which is created by the owners who are welcoming and engaging. There are many homemade cakes and pastries for me to have but those I have tried I enjoy and keep going back for. If you appreciate a good sausage roll you'll find this to be the best in the area! Do I spend too much of my money in this cafe? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Besides, you can always walk off a few pounds across the road in the park, when you eventually get around to leaving.

Lovely spot fully of artistic quirks and turns, loads of colour, everything here ‘one gets the sense’ has its own special nuance. Staff very friendly and inviting. Ordered the Beef, gherkin, mustard mayo sambo, with a surprise spinach/rocket salad with a reduced balsamic vinaigrette.. just sublime .. simply spot on. They also give the option of gluten free. Even loved the quirky tea strainer. Coming back later for a cake as too inviting to miss out 😊✨keep up the great work x

UPDATE: Had another lovely breakfast today. Because I'm allergic to strawberries lots of efforts made to find an alternative and got the bonus of the owner's mother's white cherry jam made in turkey. Scrumptious! For several months my husband and I have been doing the rounds of cafés in Crystal Palace that serve breakfast from 8:30 on Sat mornings, and we are now starting to rate them. Today was our second visit to Crespidia. I loved this place when I first came for all the small touches, things my Mum taught me to appreciate. Water brought to the table on arrival in crystal/faux crystal glasses, cutlery with bone handled knives, china cups and saucers, china plates. And tea IN A POT! Choice of loose leaf or bag. They sell bread, dried flower arrangements, pot plants and also some unique individual pieces of clothing for sale on a rail too. It's easy to see they have picked up pieces here and there, pulling it all together to make an eclectically furnished, charming little cafe. The owners are friendly and there are homemade pastries/cakes etc on sale too. Plenty of dog owners from the park popping in for take away, along with people buying bread. We were able to relax and didn't feel rushed to leave. My Mum would have loved it and I'm about to call a couple of her friends to see if we can meet up there as I think they'd love it too. The food we had was good, individual requests were catered for. Some of the food was microwaved/warmed rather than made fresh to order, but this was understandable with only 2 staff, and didn't spoil the food we had which was good. Nice touches like a bit of green leaves, dressed, with.cooked breakfast, which I always like.

We love Crespidia! We were so happy when it opened, and it's gone from strength to strength. The food is delicious, lovely drinks, cakes, sandwiches etc etc.. the merchandise is reasonably priced and it's really nice to have that to look at while we're sat chatting... and the flowers are also a beautiful bonus! To top it all off, the service is invariably wonderful and we are always made to feel welcome, as is Fergus (the sausage dog) :-) Go there as soon as possible! (I'm writing this while nibbling on a piece of delicious Crespidia sourdough)

Lovely spot by Crystal Palace park, really cozy, and amazing decoration. The young couple that run the place are really nice and very friendly. They have a diverse selection of food, our favourite is the French apple tart.

I recently stumbled upon a charming coffee shop and it was a delightful experience. The coffee was expertly brewed and had a rich, smooth flavor. They had a great selection of pastries and snacks, all of which were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating options and great decor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience even better. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Wonderful new cafe/bakery/florist/shop! Lovely calm space, some of the best coffee on the triangle (for those above Costa/Brown&Green), a scrummy array of cakes and charming staff. Opposite the station so extra good for "on way home" emergency flowers, cards, trinkets. Or, for that matter, on way out caffeine and pick me ups!

Quirky/shabby chic...my wife loves it and I'm happy to tag along. Food surprisingly good given the limited cooking facilities (amazing what you can achieve if you have to). My wife opted for eggs florentine which she gave top marks to and I chose scrambled egg which came as an unexpected "rectangular block" (visual sensory confusion see pic) but delicious to eat pretty much the best scrambled eggs I've had anywhere! Both dishes were served on delicious bread...worth a visit and a lovely resident boxer dog may come up to greet you at some point.

A cosy retreat with some delightful home made sweet and savoury treats, lunches, coffees, teas, fresh bread, flowers, plants, other gifts, all served with a big smile by Crespidia and her husband. A very stylish interior with a distinct nod to mid century and also doggie friendly.

Francesca made a delicious gluten free red velvet cake for our coeliac daughter’s 18th birthday. One of the best she has tasted!

This cafe is the type of cafe you stumble across when you’re on holiday and you wish you had one at home! Well I’ve found it! It is lovely in every way. Food was lovely and so was the coffee. It was a hot day and was also given some water :-) I’ll definitely be back to try the cakes!! The owners were so lovely and friendly and whilst I was there, the lady was baking so cakes are baked on the premises! Highly recommend!!!
