Wonderful, warm pub in a beautifully scenic location on the river in Barnes. My mother and I had the shoulder of lamb, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. I very much enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. The pub has recently reopened after being renovated and based on my visit the management have done a fantastic job, it was very buzzy on the Sunday afternoon that I was there. Will be back!
What a great pub. Had an incredible Sunday lunch there for a friends birthday. Highly recommend the lamb and the a chicken but everything else was also really good. Food, design, atmosphere and location are ideal for an all round enjoyable experience
Outstanding new opening for Barnes. Highly recommend for exciting menu, excellent produce and great atmosphere. We shared a wide selection of dishes - all delicious and the attention to detail is exceptional. Staff are super friendly and the restaurant and kitchens look amazing after a complete renovation.
Confident cooking, great cocktails, solid selection of wines. Been three times since opening, if this is where there at now, I’m excited at what’s to come! Keep it up!
What a place - the food is utterly delicious (faves are the gnocchi and bitter greens) and the best martinis in town (plus a great wine list). The wood interior and overall design is super stylish, with music on vinyl and a great atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. AND a ridiculous view over the Thames. One of the best spots around.
What an incredible Sunday Roast. Perfect in every way. Everyone on our table was blown away by the service, food and ambience. A wonderful addition to the London pub and culinary scene. I can't wait to come back and try the dinner menu.
A wonderful newly opened bar in Barnes. Just on the river thames! with a very nice village like feeling. Old and beautiful building inside and out.
If it’s your first time in London and want to experience something outstanding- you have to go to Barnes and Dine at The Waterman’s Arms!
The staff was super friendly (but you could tell it wasn’t super well organised for the first week of public opening). Nevertheless, the food was exquisite! We’ve had their Sunday menu (they have under estimated the number of guests and quite some dishes were finished when we got there)
The bar offers wonderful British comfort food. Great desserts and selection of beers and cocktails (I would recommend they work on a better wine menu though!)
We’ve had the Porchetta, Bavette, few starters, drinks, wine, dessert - and overall we weren’t disappointed (for some of the stuff we were very pleased!)
Travelled all the way from Guzzleden, Northants. Well worth the journey. Would give 6 stars if there was an option.
The Waterman’s Arms was the best dinner I’ve had in a long time. The building is beautiful and the views of the river on the first floor are stunning. The service was excellent, the team are so friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks list was extensive but not OTT and the food was absolutely superb. The standout dishes were the pork on toast, the gnocchi and the mussel, cod and chickpea stew. Loved everything about it and I can’t wait to go back.
Love the revamp! The food is so delicious - highly recommend the trout salad, it was really fresh and had incredible flavours. The atmosphere is warm and wonderful, the perfect place to have caught up with friends this weekend. Will definitely be back!
