We were looking for a nice seafood restaurant and we came across Seabird. Location was a little difficult to find but the wonderful host at the door explained in a charming way that this happens quite often, so that made us feel at ease. As soon as we stepped in the restaurant, Simona welcomed us and showed us the way to the bar, where a very charismatic bartender, James, introduce us to their bar menu and gave us some recommendations on food. Everyone was really prepared and confident about their knowledge and we really felt in good hands. Katie was our waitress who kindly answered all of our many, many questions. Moreover, Adeline took great care of us with her friendly manner and gave the final extra warm touch to our incredible experience. Margarita Chocolate Mousse is a must have as well as the Palomita! Many thanks to all the team!

The octopus on toast and the king prawns were very tasty. The mussles for the main were delicious, too. The patatas with the runny egg were a bit too salty. Overall lovely experience - beautiful and stylish deco and lamps. Also the outdoor seating was great. Great view of the city, too. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I've had seabird on my list of places to visit for 2 years now and the wait was definitely worth it. The ambience here is great, service was great, we had a young lady with braids on the evening but I cannot remember her name. As for the food and desserts, I loved the dishes! The Grilled veg, the fries, the Grilled seabass was insane! And the oysters were delicious, our waitress reccomended the perfect ones. The brioche dessert is worth visiting for alone! The dark chocolate ice-cream that the waitress sent over for my birthday was a lovely touch and so appreciated. The view here is a great skyline of London and everyone is very helpful, if you feel cold they'll put the heater on or offer you a blanket too. Definitely would return!

I had an incredible dining experience at this rooftop restaurant! The ambiance was stunning with great music in the background. Solange, our waiter, provided exceptional service, always attentive and ready to assist. The standout was undoubtedly the food; the seabass and fried calamari were unbelievably delicious. Chef Maria Carolina's commitment to top-quality cuisine was evident in every bite. A must-visit for a memorable dining experience!

I recently had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday with some friends at Seabird restaurant, and overall, it was a nice experience. We were excited to try their famous octopus rolls, which did not disappoint in terms of taste and quality. However, upon our arrival, we were hoping to be seated outside to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, the staff denied our request, mentioning the possibility of rain. Surprisingly, it never rained during our entire visit. Nonetheless, we decided to make the most of our meal and were seated inside. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was accommodating throughout our dining experience. After we finished our meal, we moved outside for drinks and were greeted with lovely views. It was a great way to enjoy the rest of the evening. A special mention goes to the birthday ice-cream, which was a delightful touch. It added a celebratory element to our evening and made the birthday celebration even more memorable.

Went for my friend’s birthday and absolutely loved the experience. Our waitress Abi was 10/10, she was such a sweetheart and her service was really great. I’m usually not a seafood person but loved all the seafood dishes we ordered and make sure you leave room for dessert because their cheesecake is to die for!

The price is worth it. I have to say I had high expectations. It was my 1st time for my best friend bday. Our waiter RICARDO (sat night June 3rd) was friendly and amazing. When I had asked to prepare a candle for dessert and my friend didn’t order any, he came anyway with one topped by a candle. That’s premium service . I’ll go back. The food was truly delicious and the view was breathtaking! Thanks Juliana for the nice outdoor corner seating 🥰

Had dinner here the first night I arrived at The Hoxton Southwark. The ambiance was great, like all their restaurants. Service was very good, though I found myself looking for my waiter a few times toward the end. I enjoyed the Spanish menu items, and the wine selection was top notch. The most interesting food item came out a little cold unfortunately, but it was still great. I’d come back to try new things.

Went for a cocktail with friends. It wasn’t majorly busy but they did forget the water for the table but so fine! Cocktail was average nothing amazing but nice. It looks beautiful inside and outside for rooftop bar. Drinks are expensive and should come down in price as I don’t think the drinks are worth the cost.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Seabird last night and had high expectations. It didn’t get off to the best start as when we arrived they were crazy busy and running late and asked us to wait on the ground floor and to grab a drink at the bar. About ten minutes we were told to head up to the restaurant. When we arrived it was buzzy, not packed but lively. We were escorted to the terrace and left with menus. We took in the views and read the menu from start to finish and waited….in the end we asked the hostess (thinking she was a waitress) if we could order drinks. She explained that she was a hostess and didn’t take orders but would find a waitress. She did and somebody arrivedj to take our order. She didn’t have a pen and so off she went. We finally managed to order and sat back taking in the view. Within less than ten minutes our food started arriving (seemed alarmingly quick) but no drinks. The drinks turned up a while after. I had ordered 1/2 a bottle of Chardonnay (£40) and it arrived in a carafe and with no way of keeping it cold. Given we are experiencing extremely high temperatures that seemed odd given the price of the wine. The food was good but not incredible and we enjoyed gin infused salmon, chorizo with honey (that really was delicious) sour dough with crab butter (yummy) calamari (the smallest calamari I’ve ever seen in both the size of the food and the portion) Iberico ham (I’ve had much better at the likes of Brindisa and local Spanish restaurants) croquetas (nice but not outstanding) and some chips (they were very good). Once we had finished it took an age to get our table cleared and that was with us asking. We then had to ask for the table to be wiped as chorizo oil was splattered and risked ruining my husbands’s white shirt. A second gin and tonic took over half an hour to arrive, it went on…. Again we had to ask to see a desert menu and there was a misunderstanding about the drinks we then ordered (we almost got tequila instead of Pedro Ximinez sherry)! The burnt cheesecake was nice but needed something like berries to cut through it. My husband’s chocolate mousse was unbearably bitter and he didn’t eat it. We were never offered coffee and promptly told that we needed to vacate our table. Needless to say we asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill which didn’t seem to come as a surprise! Did we have a nice evening? Yes, would I rush back, no! At £60 for a seabass main and £95 for lobster rice, it is expensive and the service falls far short of a restaurant charging these prices. The views (provided you are seated to enjoy them) are fabulous and we couldn’t have beaten the weather and sunset last night but Jay Rayner hits the nail on the head with his review and I only wish I’d read it before booking.

We came to the seabird on a recommendation and boy it did not disappoint! The food, the ambience, the views, but most of all the hospitality from Suzie, she went above and beyond to make our 10 year anniversary special, we chatted like old friends, she was professional, the explanation of our culinary delights and menus recommendations was EXEMPLARY and spot on. Suzie made our day that extra special and we would like to thank her for going above and beyond, and for all the the advice we quizzed her about on further education.

The food was exactly what we hoped. My friend adored the calamari, octopus and tomato salad. I was in heaven with the pea and zucchini flower paella. The cocktails were the best we had in London and the service from Susie made everything that much better. She took her time to engage. She was genuine and attentive. Five stars for everything. We can't wait to bring our friends back!!

Absolutely gorgeous view from the rooftop. We had nice dinner enjoying sunset. The service was not flawless but the DJ, the vibes, the view, it was just stunning!
