Amazing as always. Today I got a large Fish Tea and a fried dumpling. One of the best London Caribbean takeaways

My daughter and I had lunch from here today and we will definitely be re-ordering! The portion sizes are very generous, we look forward to eating the rest later. The chicken was well cooked, delicious.. thank you!

This is good home cooking, very nice! The rice and peas alone is very tasty! quite fresh too, so far so good! Also good price and you get a lot of food even when ordering a small, only thing is no plantain in your meal!

Visited Brown sugar on the 2nd of March with my wife and was really glad that I did. We ordered patties and mutton soup and cornmeal porridge and some drinks. We sat by the nearby canal and ate the food which was delicious. In fact we enjoyed it so much we went back immediately and also bought some more food , chicken and rice and an ackee and saltfish hot dog. We took it home and had it for dinner in the evening. The owner was friendly and the shop is nicely laid out and inviting. It's peaceful and quiet as well and the owner is very welcoming with a nice friendly disposition. The lady who worked there was also very polite and helpful too. They deserve to do well so I hope this review generates more customers for them. Great little Carribbean takeaway serving delicious soul food.

Not often I get to eat good Caribbean food, it's been a long time. So glad this place is close by and I don't have to travel miles to get West Indian food. Hit this place up if you're in Alperton area. Tried the Oxtail and it's amazing! Big portions. Will defo be back.

The best Jamaican food takeaway and the portion sizes are generous. Good value for money and a quick service. Food is freshly prepared so get there early before the oxtail or curry goat finishes.

Came here today with a mate for food which was not planned and we are really happy we found this place, the food portions was bigger than expected and the staff was really polite and quick(ish) but the food taste amazing, we are from London but live outside of London and missed the taste of proper Caribbean food and this place quenched our craving. Totally recommend this take away to anyone. Thanks Brown Sugar

Such tender and tasty goat curry. Nice large chunks of meat. Could up the heat on the 'rice n peas' though. Friendly staff and chef.

The best food in town! Delicious, festival, ackeedog, soup, curry, rice and peas, etc. We travel from Uxbridge to get their food its that good! Everything on the menu is worth buying. Prices are excellent too. Make sure to ring before and check they have what you want cause they have regulars and will sell out. They cater for events too. We need a franchise in Uxbridge!

Food was banging. Rather shocked. Real jamaican born and raised in Jamaica talking. Fully endorsed. Chef had the same tough attitude as if I was in Jamaica, made it feel authentic

Interesting hidden cafe, very back to basics. Food hygiene rating 4, but welcoming, do go and support it so that they can spruce it up and get to their rating 5!

Cannot get enough of this place, the food is excellent and always served with a smile. I love the chicken soup on a cold night, it goes down real well.
