Great venue and great comedy at this lovely place. We spent a very happy Saturday afternoon listening to comedy acts and drinking and eating. Recommend to everyone!
Visited for the first time yesterday as it's the new show venue for Phoenix Players and was so impressed - both by the building which is beautiful and by the friendly, welcoming staff. Keep up the good work guys! And yes, I am available for marketing purposes, David... haha.

Am afraid that this lovely coffee place will be discovered and get too popular - at the moment though not cheap, is certainly good value and the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Young families are catered for and the food is very good.
Stanley Halls: what an excellent ceilidh venue; wonderful sound, great lighting, and a brilliant floor. It would be improved by having more dancers, so go on, find out when the next ceilidh's on, and give it a try!
Beautiful building made it a perfect place for a beer festival.
So fab that this treasure of a building is being used in so many creative ways for the community. Film club is amazing, theatre productions excellent, imaginative food available at events and local!!!
It was my sisters birthday and coming to see Amanda Forbes and Jonathan Wiseman made her day really special. What a beautiful place Stanley Halls is.
The Halls are truly majestic and the staff help to bring that alive! We've been for parties and the family cinema and we look forward to seeing what they've got up their sleeves :-)

Really good to see this venue back on the circuit.
What a grand building. The amount of beautiful detail in the design of this stunning building is just amazing. I came here for the comic book and illustrated artwork fair it's really great. The artwork I found was wonderful. I found some great skull artwork and fantasy artwork. I really enjoyed my visit. Also plenty of toilets, lots to see from art on display. There is an amazing gallery in the bar area. Which has a wide range of drinks. I highly recommend here. If you are into interesting artwork and photography.

A good venue for a wedding. Very spacious. It has quite a few rooms so it can accommodate the whole day.
Splendid venue, great for a halloween party for the kids. Looking forward to panto at Christmas
CAMRA beer festival 2020.
Wonderfully well run festival with a plethora of fine ales and ciders to choose from. The selection this year was comprehensive in taking care to not only highlight local and national brewers, but also to offer beers and ciders to suit current and traditional styles. I heard few complaints and much praise for the selection. Most comforting was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere with help and and advice by staff whenever asked for.
Lovely venue, came for a Raze event and enjoyed the different spaces. This was introduction to the venue and will keep an eye out for other events.
Mesmerising performance from Prathap master and his team. Absolutely brilliant performance from other teams, especially the Bharathanatyam and singing from Aditya Narayan.
We had our wedding at Stanley Arts this summer and what an amazing space! Amie and the team were so easy to work with and did a great job on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Not only is the space full of history and charm which we loved, but the dry hire of the space meant we could add our own personal touches to the day - from decorations to choosing our own caterer. Amie was always on hand with suggestions for suppliers or ideas for what to do with the space. There was plenty of room in the day for everyone to enjoy our wedding meal and lots of space (and amazing stage lights) for dancing in the evening.
The bar/gallery had just recently been renovated and was such an amazing space to have alongside the main hall for our guests. We really couldn't imagine having the wedding anywhere else!
Amazing historic arts and events venue. Regular and very varied programme, have been to a number of events and got to try something new each time. Excellent engagement with the local community, definitely worth checking out if you are in the local area.
Stanley Arts recently hosted our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. We had a magical day in this wonderfully rustic venue. Amie and her team did a fantastic job in looking after us. With nothing too much trouble and nothing left to chance
