Stopped here on our way to Nightjar because we were hungry and were going to be hangry and drunk if we didn't get food beforehand. Guy made us fresh fish and chips, and it was worth the 10-15 minute wait. Some of the best fish and chips my wife and I have ever had. We only had a few bites and walked to the bar with food in tow. After 90 minutes there, we left Nightjar and the food was still very warm. We found a bench and happily ate the rest. This place is barebones. Don't expect fine dining. But that cod was super fresh, and had a good balance of breading vs fish meat. If in a pinch, and back in London, we'll stop there again. It's been 15 months since I've had their fish and chips, and literally just recommended this place to them for fish and chips. Can't vouch for the rest of the menu, but can vouch for the fish and chips.

Fish and chips was exceptional. We recommend asking the chef to fry a fresh cod and chips, it is worth the 10min wait.

Went at a really busy time, later in the evening - Despite being so packed we didn’t wait long. My wrapped kebab was grand but the pita my friend got, had a whole box of lettuce on top of the bread - I would suggest the wrap :)

I have eaten in many places in this local area but by far hunger cure is the best place to cure your hunger! The staff are very friendly and professional. The food tastes geat and is prepared and served promptly. I read a few reviews before eating from here but i disagree with all the negative reviews. the only only downfall is it gets busy around lunch time but if you want good food then it's not a problem. Highly recommended!! A***
