I think Lilly's Indulgence is a great place to relax. Have a slice of cake (amazing selection and all taste great) and a cup of tea and escape from the world for a little while. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Great place for a cuppa.
Lily's indulgence hosted a truly fantastic afternoon tea reception for our wedding on the 11th September. I just want to say thank you to all the staff for spoiling us and putting a delicious collection of both savoury and sweet delicacies. We had an amazing time xx

Wonderul service! Was served by a very polite and attentive man, had some lovely avocado on toast and the best latte i’ve ever tasted.
We had a private party at Lily's Indulgence to celebrate our Ruby Anniversary with 30 family and friends. The buffet spread that Andrea put on for us was excellent and the staff extremely helpful. This was the perfect venue in South Woodford for our party size. Quite a number of our guests commented on how good it was. Thanks to all the staff for their stunning effort.

Great place that offers a wide variety of cakes, snacks and drinks. It's also very family friendly and conveniently located next to the train station.
I'm a teaching assistant for a local school and bring 6th form students with special educational needs here to complete work experience. Not many local businesses would be willing to offer this, but at Lily's the owners have been amazingly accommodating, patient and understanding. They have given the students a great opportunity to experience working life and are a credit to the local community. The students have benefitted so much from this.

It was a colleague's birthday and I ordered some cupcakes to bring into work. I ordered them the night before and they were freshly made first thing the next morning, ready for me to pick up. The lady I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. Everyone LOVED the cakes - they looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommended.
I'm a little surprised by the recent negative reviews as I've always had quick, polite service here. I reckon I must have been lucky but no unreasonable waiting whenever I've been, whether it's for a coffee or for lunch. Great selection of cakes and treats too.
Stumbled upon this place when we were trying to fulfil a sweet tooth craving. After much indecisiveness, we settled on a couple of the homemade waffles - possibly the biggest waffle/ice cream stack I’ve ever laid my eyes on. They were fantastic and really delicious - and a steal for the price (£4.50). We then continued to nurse our sugar comas for a while after, not realising that the cafe had already been closed for an hour. The lovely waitresses left us to our own devices and didn’t once ask us to leave. Definitely coming back :)
A friendly place - although I'm only an occasional visitor, they remember my order every time. The array of cakes and pastries reminds me of central Europe.
Like the people (not a chain), food well made and over generous portion size. Can get busy. If you want cheap crap and quick go Costa.
I love this cafe, always really friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. Lots of variety and the best decaf mocha I've ever had 😊
