I'm a little surprised by the recent negative reviews as I've always had quick, polite service here. I reckon I must have been lucky but no unreasonable waiting whenever I've been, whether it's for a coffee or for lunch. Great selection of cakes and treats too.
Stumbled upon this place when we were trying to fulfil a sweet tooth craving. After much indecisiveness, we settled on a couple of the homemade waffles - possibly the biggest waffle/ice cream stack I’ve ever laid my eyes on. A friendly place - although I'm only an occasional visitor, they remember my order every time. The array of cakes and pastries reminds me of central Europe.
Like the people (not a chain), food well made and over generous portion size. Can get busy. If you want cheap crap and quick go Costa.
