The Mere Scribbler Pub is a warm and inviting gastropub located in Streatham Common. It has a cozy atmosphere with a wood-lined interior, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The pub also has a lovely garden area that is perfect for al fresco dining on a sunny day. The food at The Me
A fine modest pub offering a selection of keg beers. The Mere Scribbler overlooks Streatham Common, it offers a small but varied menu for the hungry and has a couple of TVs if there is any sport on offer. Friendly staff and efficient service, a pleasant place to quench your thirst.
Excellent lunch with a large group of families. The food was superb. The customer service was top notch. The food delivery was a little slower than ideal but worth the wait. I wasn’t aware of the beer garden too which is an added bonus. The pub is also dog friendly 🐶👍
Helpful and friendly staff. Chloe was great. Popped in for a roast and was not disappointed. We chose the swinger roast (a bit of an odd name) which consisted of beef, pork and chicken to share. The portion was huge and the quality was brilliant. Crispy pork, perfectly medium rare beef and tasty chi
Very nice staff and the food was nice. But unfortunately the food was cold when it arrived. I would come back and try again though.
First visit to this pub for local resident. First impressions Welcomed with a reservation, booked in to watch the football and grab a spot of dinner with a pint. Was met with a very friendly group of staff, who provided an excellent spot and table service to all enjoying the game. I had some beer t
Popped in for a quick drink on our way to a friends event. Intention was to stay for one however Paul the barman was so friendly we stayed far longer than we intended. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend it!
Came in to watch champions league and thought I ought to mention the girl working behind the bar/cleaning tables/running food/training/making cocktails etc seemingly all at once. They seemed very short staffed and she was an absolute hero. Five stars just for her really!
Went on a Sunday night, it was not too busy. Very cosy atmosphere. Had the chicken roast, it was tasty and the portion very generous. The vegs were a bit oily..but it's ok, very good for the price! Would return again.
I go for the quiz on a Sunday. Nice friendly bar staff and a good atmosphere. Haven't eaten.
Went in for a quick pint. Nice looking pub and the beer selection was good. Staff were very friendly.
Lovely pub. Came in simply to stretch my legs and watch the football after working from home all day. Really nice atmosphere. Staff seem top notch. Kat in particular was really good. Friendly, accommodating, attentive. Made sure I had the best seat to watch the game, put the sound on for me, nice wa
Liked the New England Beer but the margerita wasnt amazing spoken from someone who drinks a lot of them.
Pretty limited selection of beers in an otherwise perfectly decent pub. Good food, good wine, loses a star for the beer range. *EDIT* I revisited recently and the beer selection on tap was much better, bravo.
played there last year in my band ambulance head, place was rammed, A good place for meeting friends, food was lovely
Greeted with smiles, always a good start. Cracking little secret garden with mellow tunes playing. The food was spot on!
