My kids saw the advert on TV and I took family to the Mexican grille. The food and the service was excellent. The food was ready and served within 15 minutes. The service was very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended to my friends and family. Will return definitely.
Amazing food, HUGE portions. Everything was so flavourful. I love the fact that I can go to a restaurant with a great decor, HMC certified, no alcohol and it's not Asian food but beautiful Mexican food! It's a pity I don't live in London anymore otherwise I'd be dining there every day!!!

I moved from Scotland to London over a year a ago. And I am happy to say that I have enjoyed the food, the ambience and great customer service - with every visit. And there is also a prayer room - mashallah! Looking forward to the next visit! :-)

good grill food ,good service , grate atmosphere ,Mexican grill restaurant was always my personal fav . the stake which is chicken and lamb stake are good .everything looks so fresh with daily stews to choose the wild variety of dishes .must try will go back soon . probably best gourmet place in east London .price are competitive and quality food much much batter then other .I wood recommend the place everyone .
First time I've been here with a friend of mine as she requested she wanted to eat there, good service as soon as we went in, ordered our food and it didn't take very long, we was quite surprised, the food was really nice and flavoured, we actually enjoyed it, was pretty quite in there, we got a board for covering without even requesting which actually pleased us, like the special treatment lol, also got sweets at the end just before we left, so overall it was good, do recommend it.
Mex-Cajun Half Chicken w/ Cajun Sauce, Coleslaw & Steak Chips: £7.95 | To start with, the presentation looked amazing! It looked so appetising but I've got to say, as pretty as the coleslaw looks, it wasn't very practical eating-wise. So the chicken was delish! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It was quite flavoursome too. In terms of the chips they were crispy as chips should be. The service took very long and was pretty chaotic. So, if you're looking for a meal which is tasty and one you won't mind waiting for, this would be a recommendation. Foodie.007 x
I'm not really an expert on Mexican but I have always liked this place generally. Last time I went was again on a cheat day and I craving one of their starters rather than mains which was the cheesy chilli con carne fries.
The cheese oozes in between the mince meat and chips with another cheesy sauce on top and the jalapeños just tops it off.
They have burgers and some steaks on the menu on top of the normal Mexican fare.
The food I doubt will blow many people's minds but is a hunger buster and worth a go.
A True Mexican Experience
I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This is not your typical Mexican food, but so much better.
The service was impeccable, the ambiance of the restaurant is comfortable and pleasant.
I had the Mexican fajita and guacamole as appetizer. Everything was delicious and I felt like having dinner in a real Mexican restaurant. The margarita was terrific, you should definitely try it.
Initially looking at the menu, I thought prices were high but in the end the bill was good. It’s about £15/20 per person.
I look forward to returning to this restaurant.

I have eaten here on at least a dozen occasions either with family or friends for various occasions and I have yet to be disappointed with the food, the venue or the price. I have tried a good portion of the pretty good sized menue, and have loved every bit, the non alcoholic drinks on offer are a great as a selection. I'm a meat lover and the variety and flavours are great. A few colleagues who have eaten here have had a nice vegetarian selection and have enjoyed the food.
I know that some people here have mentioned the service as an issue which I have seen to some extent at busy times like on a Fri/Sat night but not any more than any other busy restaurant really. At any other time it's never been an issue.
The booths are a great place to sit, it seats 6 people and is nice and private but still feel the atmosphere of the place.
I would say to anyone looking for a filling and tasty meal which is healthy as opposed to the cheap fried junk around every corner, this is the place to go!

Truly a sensational experience. The restaurant was the only halal Mexican available in and around Whitechapel. The food was served in a very fashionable manner. Ordered a Chili Fries, Burrito, Mixed grills and some very mouth watering desserts. My Family enjoyed it. Although a bit pricey but then your also paying for the experience. It a shame about the location, this eatery should be located in a more upmarket area not surrounded by Perfect Fried Chicken shops. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be paying a visit very soon again. 'MUST VISIT'
Good service. Good portion. Had the mei mex. Which basically was a platter for 4 to share. Taste was kinda similar for the meat.
*GREAT TABLE SERVICE* My friends and I decided to go to Mexican Grille for iftar. They had a fixed Ramadan menu majority for £10 or little bit over- great big portions and it was filling. The workers there were lovely and went up and beyond for us. They even have a prayer room upstairs! At the end they also gave us complimentary sweets! Highly recommend this family restaurant!!!

Friendly staff. Epic food portions. Nice Mexican atmosphere with traditional hats to take pics. Seriously one of best & biggest burgers I've ever had. Seriously none of us could finish it. And very reasonably priced

A part from that, the staff was really kind and me and my friend really enjoyed our meal. I ordered a beef burrito while she had tacos.
Looks a bit like a dingy pub when you first enter but the food is lovely and the service agreeable. We booked a table to sit and eat but they misunderstood so on our arrival they had all our food ready to go. However they quickly got to work to accommodate our dining in. We enjoyed rocking the Mexican hats whilst waiting and would visit again.
I enjoyed my time here so much I’m writing a review. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I opted for the burger in a wrap rather than a bun. Quite the experience. Decent value for money as the “burger” was huge.

Very delicious Mexican food! We ordered the fajita combo and were very pleased with the food. It tasted as good as the fajitas they serve in Mexico. The staff were very friendly :-)

I start a 100% HMC approved food with a authentic twist, I ordered a quesadillas chicken and my brother ordered a mini grill feast the quesadillas was soft and crispy on the outside and and the chicken inside made you feel calm with the peppers and sauce infusing with flavour, the mini grill feast served on a skillet was sizzling as described and was a mix of meat from the menu from chops to sausage to chicken brother loved it ❤️ because the area has a high Muslim population including myself, there is a prayer room for those who wish to pray. The customer service was excellent as the waiters were attentive and very polite don't know what the other reviews portray. 😓 Any way it was a wonderful evening and food and service was the cherry on top 🍒.
The restaurant was busy when I entered but the service was amazing, I had a mex mix platter with my family, the whole chicken was full of favour and the wings were infused with different spices, there was a waiter called amina who was excellent and made a amazing attentive waiter or known as kitchen porter. The atmosphere was nice as it was busy and everyone was enjoying their food. From the last time I come the restaurant had a small renovation and it did wonders, it was bright and the booth where I sat in had a adjustable light. There was also a prayer room available for those that wish to pray. 😍😘🌮🇲🇽
