We hired out an area in The Vineyard to host a party for our friends and family. Well what can I say, from the very beginning point of initial contact with the manager to trying to set everything up on the day, the staff were so helpful and hospitable. Our guests loved this beautifully decorated pub and we have all come away feeling very pleased and impressed. Thanks guys for an awesome day! 100% recommend.

Great atmosphere on Saturday night, very busy, but not overwhelming, didn’t have to queue at the bar long and the DJ was absolutely great

We held a great baby shower here, we reserved the tables in the area to the back and was allowed to decorate the area with banners, balloons and table decorations. The bar already looked good with christmas decorations too. Helpful, friendly staff. Good choice of food and drink. Very recommmened. Will be back soon.

Great bar towards the top end of Upper Street with large outside area with benches at the front - inside is pretty roomy too. My favourite thing about this bar is the prosecco on tap for about £4.50!!

the weekend is already here, you are out of the office and you just did not have the time to plan forward. lean back at vineyard, get a cocktail and start swinging through the music, enjoying bits and pieces of good food.

I definitely agree that you notice the appeal as you enter the space from the street, it is a garden, a lounge, a bar, a restaurant  & having all does not mean confusion and mediocre taste this time.  Even when the sizzling rain starts, you can hang out in the garden- and they have the cocktails to keep the aficianado around all night. Nothing much of the noisy disco vibe or hours and hours of tingling indie rhythms : they have a good grip on the harmony of the atmosphere & music.

I really love the atmosphere that this place has, they have a great outdoor seating area that is super relaxed. You have to go to the bar and get the drinks yourself but once you've ordered the food they bring it out to you, and the service is quite rapid. The selections of drinks and food are pretty typical bar options. They don't have anything that fancy or complicated.

I recommend just getting a beer and a burger. They have a good selection of beers and their bar food is fairly good. I had their house burger which was nice and the jacket potato with cheese which was also pretty good. They're not pretending to be a gourmet restaurant so if you're not expecting anything special you'll be happy with your bar food.

The appeal of the Vineyard is clear from the offset as you enter the bar via the outside seating area. Separated from the street by arches emblazoned with the pub’s name the outdoor area is a swarming social hub which is almost always full on week nights and on the weekends. It’s the perfect place for smokers as they can easily coax their non-smoker pals outside with the comfy seating (there is even a sofa in one section) and heaters, so everyone is happy.

To drink I had a pint of Grolsch which is quite a rare offering in London pubs, and the wine menu is great ranging in price from about £13 to £20 for a bottle so is good for those on a budget or if you have something to celebrate.

The food is absolutely fine, serving up a range of Panini’s, burgers and other pub classics like ham, egg and chips. It’s a cheap place to come if you haven’t managed to have dinner before after work drinks, as it often has drink/meal offers on.

All in all this is good place to come for drinks, with a good buzz and an outdoor area to boast about.

Vineyard's best perks are its vibrant and lively atmosphere and its gorgeous outside seating area. It's the best place to go to for a lunchtime catch-up with friends, and make sure to try and go on a sunny day!

The best meal for me out of the vegetarian options is the French Goat's Cheese & Caramelised Onion Ciabatta, which is definitely worth its £6.95 price.

If only I visited the area more often. It's a perfect place for a food lover. All the restaurants in the area are of high caliber, and Vineyard is no exception. Not only is the seating my favourite in London at the moment (the outside area reminds me of a cabana on the beach), but it has a certain miss match charm that can only meld well together when both food and ambience are up to par. Remember those American pizzas that they used to eat in Friends? Well. Vineyard has them. Amazingly tangy, thin, and crispy. Just thinking about it gives me fond cheesy memories. A place worth checking out in the Summer - definitely.

After a long, bustling day filled with shopping and navigating the busy streets, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: a charming pub that offered the perfect escape from the urban chaos. The inviting atmosphere and the refreshing Camden Hells beers were just what we needed to unwind.

We came for a birthday and Gok and Melinda were very amazing. We felt very welcomed and everything was perfect. Such a perfect location in Islington. A real gem! Thank you so much for making us feeling at home!

Less busy than it used to be, fairly quiet and good place to sit and chat on weekdays and busier on Fridays and Saturdays with DJ making sure people get onto the dance floor. Food and drinks are standard offering, plenty of outdoor seating for smokers and plenty of space inside.

Very friendly and professional staff who greet us with a smile. They remember their regular returning customers as well. Great outdoor space at the front which has some covered parts for when it rains. Good selection of drinks behind the bar and on tap. Always seems clean, organised and a well managed bar.

I went to the vine on the odd occasion and had food. I got the ranch chicken and was served by Richard. He was so great. He made sure I was fine with every single detail and made my drinks to perfection. The food was great with the service he provided. When he brought the food over made sure all the condiments I had. I really appreciate it. Great venue!!

A good atmosphere for getting drinks with friends, and the staff are all nice. The food however was bad. I’m not a picky eater, but I did not finish the plate after a couple bites. Some of the vegetables in the bowl were wilted or not fresh, and the chicken was very very salty.

Inter Milan Club London had a great party at The Vineyard with about 70 people. The Vineyard's manager was kind and accomodating, keeping half of the garden for us and preparing an abundant and tasty buffet. Friendly staff and good atmosphere - Definitely recommend!

A wonderful place, good drinks with a kind staff who let all of us standing outside from across the street at Islington for a concert come in to use their bathrooms. We ended up here after the concert with a ton of others visiting from the states and we owned the dance floor! We stayed until they closed and had the best time!

A really nice pub for a drink with plenty of seating inside and out. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is a great spot to have a quick drink before attending an event at the Assembly Hall which is directly across the street.

One of the most amazing pubs I've ever visited massive well done to the GM Andy and his team. Friendly, hard working, experienced, very bubbly bar staff made me feel welcomed relaxed and smiley ☺ Homey atmosphere and a gorgeous beer garden. Food was delicious and arrived on time despite amount of food orders at the same time. So well done to the chef for being able to deliver quality under the pressure. Highly recommended place to chill with family or friends and we'll definitely be back Thank you ❤
