under most of their dishes you have the option for: chicken, prawn, veg - but then also mock duck and mock chicken!
i love the mock duck - which i get salt and chilli style.

Have ordered from Ruby house for many years now, our favourite Chinese takeaway by a long shot. Restaurant quality takeaway food, consistent, good value. Highly recommend
Love these guys, I ordered for the first time this week, and have been looking for a decent Chinese takeaway for a while. Got their set menu, which had chicken in black bean and egg fried rice, which was pretty good... But I usually judge on my fav dishes - sweet and sour chicken balls and my all time fav the crispy shredded beef, both of which they nail. I want some more of the beef right now. I think there are some cheaper ones out there, but I’d rather order from these guys and get something good.
We are new to the neighbourhood, but I think this will be our to go to option for Chinese food. Meals are generous, affordable prices for a venue relatively close to the city, and good flavour and options. We actually have to control ourselves to avoid buying food here too often! I'd recommend it, definetively!
Good and consistent, tasty soups and appetisers. Very standard british chinese food.
Been eating here for 10 years. the food has got better. Order direct for the best price as Just Eat and such like seem much more expensive. You also get free fritters with your order. good fresh food everytime.
I live really local and I have to say, for a local Chinese, the food is SO TASTY. I do not understand the bad reviews at all. We loved everything. Definitely a go-to every single time.

For once, a takeway that my friends and I could agree on! Cheap mix boxes which are tasty and properly fill you up for the price of going out to the shops, and then big seperate dishes which are really tasty! Overall 9/10!
