The food was just alright - similar to a typical take-out. The dishes were on the too-salty side, especially the hot & sour soup. We both felt how much salt and MSG were in the food long after we left dinner.

Found this place by chance while walking to the British museum. Looked like a whole in the wall kind of place but there other Asian customers eating inside so that's always a good sign. The food was quite good and the service was fast. Not everyone there spoke good English but it's enough to get by. I don't agree with the other comments on here about rude waiters and language difficulties. The English menu can be slightly confusing but seriously, at about 8 pounds a dish, just grow a pair and try something new.

Despite there are numerous negative feedback, my recent experience at this restaurant was very good. I didn’t expect any good service, and only focused on the quality of food - which were very well cooked and prepared both hot and code dishes, you can tell from the tastes that chefs are able to cook good authentic Chinese. We had a group of 8 people, a lovely place for group eating.

Probably all you can ask for your Chinese fix: incredibly long menu, frog legs, pig ears, great dim sum and really generous portions. Be ready to be super thirsty for hours afterwards.

This place services some proper Chinese dishes at a rather reasonable price. But I understand some western people may find the food too Chinese or the service not friendly enough.

Place is dirty, toilets are filthy. Food was served quite quickly but not all of it. My friend's order clearly just wasn't written down as is arrived only after asking what is going on, the rest of us ate half of the food by the time it arrived. 3 of us ordered the same thing and each dish was slightly different (different noodles and veggies, even the gravy).
I agree that the staff needs some English and restaurant training. On top of it, the waitress was surprised I asked to opt out from the service charge and didn't see a problem at all. Avoid.
