A good place to go for affordable hotpot, at £22/ person. We ordered 3 rounds, not sure if you can order more. Their menu is quite full and is good for vegetarians too. The broth tastes nice but not as good as the big hotpot chains.

Really fantastic food. I recommend the all-you-can-eat hot pot for £21 per person. The best foods included fish bean curd, fried dough sticks, all the meat rolls and the needle mushrooms. There's a lot of food, so go hungry. Great hot pot place.

Probably the best value-for-money all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant in London. Great atmosphere with plenty of choices of authentic southern China dishes. I was in a rush so did not have the chance to dine in but takeaways were equally great. Generous portion and all well- cooked. The restaurant is famous for spicy dishes but there are certainly enough mildly cooked meats, fish and vegetables to choose from.

Definitely the most worth it hot pot place in London. All the ingredients are fresh and it’s paid per headcount. We loved the mutton based spicy soup, and loads of fresh meat🤩

Everything is very well priced, especially for London. I got the soup noodles with beef brisket, so so so delicious! The hand pulled noodles tasted so authentic. Their special fried rice was a little dry and lack lustre though. The portions are huge too. Staff were super sweet. 🥰

Overall price for the all-you-can-eat Chinese hotpot experience is £22. The major advantage of this is that you can eat as much as you like, which is great. Included in hot pot experience you can get mussels, king prawns, beef etc. So potential to get lots of meat in you! They had a wide selection of 12+ different condiments at the front of the restaurant, e.g. oyster sauce, soy sauce, etc. Overall I think it's good.

Amazing place food was incredible. Don't find many places that offer semi traditional dishes. The mapo tofu was fantastic

We went for the all you can eat hot pot. The meal in itself was good, though the ordering system could be slightly better explained (you can order up to 8 dishes multiple times). We had a 4 year old who was eating with us, he ate free as he was under 1m - probably worth being aware of this. We had to place orders for drinks a few times to get served.

One of my most favourite Chinese restaurants in London!! Best cooking dishes without a tourist trap price tag! My favourite was the fish with cube cuts chilli, the fragrance chicken, and the tofu. They are all super delish! Very friendly and quuck service as well. And most importantly, thus Chinese restaurant accepts card payments! What an improvement! This place is very recommended to try whenever you're in the South of London area. Promise yiu will not regret it! 😉

Probably the hotpot restaurant in London with the best value for money. Excellent choice for hanging out with friends especially after a long day. The quality of food isn’t that perfect but we’re totally OK with it considering the price and great service.

Surprisingly really good Asian food place. Its local, which makes it not as busy as in high Street, what is great. Food selection is great and very tasty. Very authentic. Can judge by pictures. I had several dishes and they are all amazing. Love the taste. And, please, don't go for hotpot (why cook yourself in a restaurant) - have a nice meal instead.

Great affordable hotpot! Tastes amazing, maybe not as great as those 5 star chains obviously, but for the price, definitley good. I always see this place bustling with people in the evening, which is a good sign too.

We waited 20 mins for the first round and got only one round in the first hour. I'd never felt so empty while having a hot pot. However, they gave us 40 mins more after regular dining time, and we all felt full in the end. So, in general, it was still acceptable. As for food, I would give it a 5 to 6 out of 10.

I can't comment is it a Hunan cuisine restaurant. Foods are generally tasty as compared with many other Chinese restaurants in town, a little bit oily but many Chinese people dine in here, so I would consider it's quite authentic Chinese restaurant. I added my comments after a year later because I have tried their hot pot many times, quite nice, variety choices of soup bases, they serve All you can eat Buffet on their hot pot with range of dipping ingredients. Cozy restaurant, Friendly staffs therefore they are deserved to have return customers. Location is good, less than 3min walk from Rotherhithe station. I will continue to support the Water House restaurant again once they open business, due to pandemic they closed for dine in, as usual I will normally order foods via delivery service companies or directly from them, kindly expecting long waiting time.
