I was on a ground and museum tour of the iconic Lord’s Stadium and I was told by the staff to visit Lord’s Tavern which is right outside the ground near the grace gate for some snacks and drinks. I had their veggie burger which was excellent in taste and presentation. The names of all the delicacies on the menu have a cricket flavour in them. The veggie burger I had was called the “howzzat vegetarian burger”. The staff is very friendly and kind as well.

I have been to this tavern some 5 - 6 times. The staff is extremely cordial, helpful and sweet. The beer taps keep changing, as you will get very few ales and stouts each time you visit. The lagers keep changing, the IPAs also see new brands coming in as I have tried around new beers each time.

For a vegetarian, the veg burger is very helpful. The portions are large and sumptuous. This has repeat value simply for the cricket being played all day, it is right behind Lords Cricket Ground and you can sit all day, drink and eat for your leisure.

There are old timers who have served in the military, played cricket who keep frequenting will chat and swap stories with you. Have not tried anything beyond the burgers and chips. This place is better for the wide variety of beer like any other decent pub in London, a minimum of 12 taps always serving great beer.

If in the area, do not miss it. There is a certain mood to the place.

Good selection of beers and really friendly atmosphere especially on game days. You may catch a couple cricketers as well.

They always play the games live on screen, so if the crowds get too much inside, pop to the tavern for a pint until you're ready to head back in.

The Lords Tavern is modern and light in its decor, but for a pub that sits next to one of the oldest sports grounds in the city, its pretty lacking in tradition. The real virtue of the place is for sports fans - there are at least five widescreen TVs, all of which can be tuned to different matches. On a busy weekend of matches, you can watch two or three games simultaneously while enjoying a pint. The food is standard pub fare but very good quality - the Sunday roast is a particular highlight. The staff are very friendly and its normally fairly empty, so you can always get a seat. If you're struggling to decide whether to watch the rugby or football when the two clash, I'd recommend getting the best of both worlds and watch them both here at the same time.

A historic Tavern beside a landmark ground makes it very special. During my tour to the Lords guided tour I also took the onus of reserving a table to have tea just for the experience. As we entered the restaurant and informed our reservation we were directed to our table. We actually moved to coffee and along with bread and butter was served. The breads were freshly baked and was delicious. I would recommend to visit when a match is on motion as it will also allow to get the passion of patrons displayed. A must visit just for the experience. Outside and indoor seating both are available

The food and service was great, no complaints whatsoever. We were, however, expecting something a bit more historic, charming or even cricket themed! In reality the Lord's Tavern is a rather standard looking pub just with some cricket inspired food and grub options and a lot of cricket playing.

There are two great things about this pub…. It is next to Lord’s, and the chicken Caesar salad is pretty good. Service was a bit slow on a very busy Sunday.

A relaxed place right outside the Lord's stadium. Nice and simple. Comfortable outdoor seating. Service was as expected. No food options as they shut by 9pm. Overall a descent place. Better priced than a few others.

Three of us stumbled across this pub on Sunday, 5th. March 2022. What a lovely surprise - really nice and helpful staff and lovely friendly locals. The roast was really really good - beautifully cooked beef and a terrific cauliflower cheese - well done chefs!! I live in South London but this pub is worth a visit. Strongly recommend.

Good quality events venue, couldn't see the pitch though from the venue which was a shame ( guess it's only grass anyway though with a load of seats around it, probably not even any daisies 😉)

Popped in for a beer 🍺 or two. Good service and a reasonable range of Amber ales....and next door to the home of cricket.

Mixed experience. Easy to book a table. Bar service was good. Table service very slow. Almost 3 hours to get dinner and a desert. Main meal was fantastic. Dessert was a mix. Eaton Mess was poor, but cheese board was fantastic again! Very small menu so bare that in mind.

Posh pub that has good food and near Wimbledon and the Cricket field. This is an historic spot for cricketers. Near Abby road studio! My curry vegi dish was amazing! Be sure to tour the grounds!

Great atmosphere and service right next to Lords ground. Lost a star as menu choices seemed more limited and basic than on previous visits.
