You can never go wrong with a cheeky Nandos! I tried the prego steak burger for the first time, it was nice but I prefer the chicken dishes such as the quarter chicken with peri peri fries.
Nandos is popular for their peri peri chicken which comes at different levels of spiciness- extra hot, hot, mild and lemon & herb for those who prefer to have no spice at all. Chicken is mostly grilled to perfection and my order usually arrives just under 20 mins of ordering. The thick chips are baked which gives you a sense of a healthy meal as the chicken too is grilled instead of fried. Halal meat is offered at this branch of Nandos. My usual order consists of a quarter chicken, peri chips, and mashed potato which costs me just under £10. I like the halloumi cheese however the portion size is too small which I don't think is value for money. Good service provided. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price.
I had a great customer service from a manager named Grant ! He gave excellent customer service and was really quick and efficient with everything.
Grant always checked up on us to see if we are okay which made me feel very comfortable! I do recommend the Balham branch for nandos as their food is amazing and you be lucky enough to have a guy like grant look after you 👍

The food was amazing.
The chicken was cooked well. Juicy & succulent inside, not dry at all. Grilled to perfection.
I love the chicken liver that just melts in the mouth.
Also tried the new Pimenta sauce, mild flavour with peri peri, pink peppercorn & sumac.
Love the peri peri sauces on the side with garlic bread & fries.
It was a great treat and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The place was buzzing on Sunday night and we were able to get the table. The staff was very hospitable and friendly.

Loved this Nandos...customer service was on point and friendly...young man who served my friends and I went above and beyond with customer care. Food was lovely and I must say I would definitely visit again. Also wanted to say the tall guy who made it possible for us to get seating even though we originally were told it would take 20 minutes...Thank you...it was a really long day of travelling and we just needed to eat.

Team are friendly at this branch, but downside is you get cold chips and dry chicken. Cheeky to give chips that are cold and not fried fresh, ruins the meal as you got to wait for a fresh batch of chips when it should have been served fresh in the first place so you can have everything together. The chicken is also over cooked slightly making it dry and not enjoyable to eat. So overall, staff are great, but find it cheeky that they don’t serve freshly fried chips to try and save money - a result of this is a poor experience for the paying customer!
Updated review - after trying this Nando’s again, I can say there’s a huge improvement. Manager Grant is an actual legend, a real asset to Nando’s. Very friendly with a great sense of humour. Quick waiting times and super fresh food. I would say the wings were slightly on the overcooked side, but with Grant’s super friendly customer service, my previous review of a low rating can definitely be upgraded to a happy 5 stars!!
The only reason I would give this 4 star instead of 5 stars, simply because you can’t book a table and there’s always a wait whenever you arrive. I first went to Purley Nando’s, then Tooting Nando’s, and then Balham Nando’s just because the wait was so long, but the restaurant food atmosphere Service everything is amazing once you’re seated.

I made an order online for collection and she very kindly let me eat it in the restaurant as my lift was 20 mins mate The restaurant was in great condition and the atmosphere was really fun - all other members of staff were really nice as well.

This may be on the smaller side for a typical Nandos... But the staff in this place make it worth the wait! The chicken is always cooked spot on!! And the staff do their best to seat and serve all customers as quickly as possible. Well done and keep it up guys 👍🏾👍🏾

Staff are very friendly, food is good. The restaurant and loos could do with a better clean however as feels a little on the grubby side.
We got the full platter with halloumi and used the sauces to make our own dirty fries, so yum!
Service from Carissa was absolutely incredible. She was so kind and welcoming and deserves recognition for her amazing hospitality.
