Mac is Mac everywhere. However what I like with McDonald's in UK is the spicy veggie. If you like veggie sandwiches, it is a good treat from what you find in Middle East, India and US.
McDonalds is still one of the most popular Takeaways on the high street.
They were not too busy so service was very quick and the food was well prepared and presented.
The diametrical opposite to a south London McD's, like say for instance the Brixton Central branch, or any of the south London big hitters.
This place is almost respectable dining, so hard it tries to waft posh vibes and show it's not bringing down the tone of Ken High Street.
It's so well behaved, it's lobotomised. You could swap this place for the library it's so quiet, with just some easy listening background pop at a very low volume. And table service! Hah! Just try that one at the Camberwell counter. You will be lampooned.
First time I've ever seen all the order screens working. Toilets open as default! Yes, on trust, not requiring coaxing a giant key off the harassed counter staff to the amusement of every other patron. I could go on. They really do do things differently up north London.
Nice but dull, soulless, unmemorable - and you can't say that about most of the south London branches.
went inside on a scorching day, but the air condition is not cold enough. even the ice cream is not cold enough. staff did great work tho, the place is clean and almost no queue for food collection. wifi downstairs works superb.
Good service very clean fast service good tasty breakfast love it I can recommend 100%

A vibrant place like all Mcdonalds. You get what you get paid for . A clean and efficient place
The Mc. in Kensington is a good place not very crowded.
Touch screen ordering is with no difficulty at all.
3 small kiosks for kids to play... Feel free to enjoy meals
Larger branch opposite High St. Kensington tube.
The store is accessible at street level and there is a mini lift inside on the right to allow wheelchair users to access the raised ground floor. That is where food is ordered and served, and also where the disabled toilet facilities are.
There's a choice of ordering by large screens, or at the order desk. Either way was quick.
While there's a reasonable amount of seating on the main floor, there's also a lot more seating in the basement.
This is only accessible via a flight of stairs. There are men's and ladies toilets down there too.
One very good thing I noticed afterwards, is that there's one order screen at the bottom of the basement stairs. This means you can order food, take a seat and have it brought to you.
On the point of food, considering it was lunchtime and the store was very busy, our food was ready sooner than expected.
We found the whole experience smooth, easy and pleasant.
Different levels of services depending on time of day
Very busy weekday lunchtime and after school and on Saturday afternoons
I would not exxpect excellent food or service However, Mc Dinald s manages to deliver the quality service they strive for
