Taste of home in London Town. You gotta try their falafel wrap. It's the best! The staff are very nice and welcoming. Also it has a good vibe. They're always playing 90s music, which I quite like.
We stopped here on our way to Chelsea Flower Show. We wanted a quick light lunch. It was a warm day so we sat outside on the pavement - a bit noisy - but perfect for watching the beautiful people passing by. The food was fantastic and loads of it. We ordered the Mezze no. 2 which comprised, houmous, falafel, spinach pastries and cheese pastries; a spicy broad bean dish; fatoush and grilled halloumi. We shared this between three and there was more than enough. The service was quick and friendly. It worked out to be £16.00 each including soft drinks and 10% service - very reasonable for the Kings Road. Ideal if you are visiting the Saatch Gallery as it is located just across the road.
Yummy. Excellent service, excellent fresh food. The one lady was very helpful with suggestions too. Moutabal the best. Definitely go back again. The noise is part of the happy ambience ... people enjoying great food and great company.
Love this restaurant. ... love the food in this place... hummous is always absolutely delicious and the spicy Al Dar salad is always delicious..... service is also always good, probably because they all know us considering we are always there.... baklava is AMAZING!
Love this restaurant.....
Today my husband and I went to one of our favourite Lebanese restaurants: Al Dar, which is located on Kings Road near Sloane Square Tube Station. The food is always fresh and delicious and you generally need to wait for a table, as it is always packed, especially at lunchtimes. Their Edgware Road restaurant is a lot bigger and is equally as good. My husband ordered a mixed chicken and lamb platter which came with delicious traditional pickles, onions and was served with a very spicy chilli yoghurt. He also had the Lebanese flat bread and a small portion of eggplant dip. I ordered the mixed salad and a delicious platter of spicy potatoes with peppers. Overall a fabulous meal, one which we cannot wait to have again. The restaurant on King's Road - near the Sloane Square tube station. Our delicious feast included mixed shawarma, moutabal (aubergine dip), batata harra (spicy potatoes), Lebanese salad and an extremely tasty combination of yoghurt and a spicy chilli sauce. Even though the se
I used to go for lunch to this place before. They have very nice home made lebanese sausages with such a particular taste, fresh tabbouleh, chicken or falafel sandwich and all sorts of lebanese dishes.
Everytime when I went there the service was very quick hence, we came back for lunch as we could have something nice in less than one hour break.
The place doesn't look amazingly good but it's clean and the food is delicious.
The best place you can go to in Chelsea. Nice food and a lot served. It is well-worth the money. The restaurant must have gone through a big change, because the waiters are fast, always look after you and have a really good sense of humour (thank you for the excellent service Hisham!).
Can only recommend the place! Keep up the good work everyone! :)
This is by far London's best Lebanese restaurant. This is entirely due to the taste and quality of the food because the venue itself is nothing special.
Definitely try the lamb shwarma sandwich and the falafel sandwich - fantastic!!!
the service is really poor, before the refurb I saw the waiter realise he had got two orders muddled up and attempted to just switch the plates after both had been tucked in to. With that in mind, it's a testament to the food just how many times I've been here. Really yummy stuff.
Its serves wholesome food....good prices...polite service,a bit slow....not fine dining but great in the catagory of casual Lebanese food....the Lebanese red wine is great!
I went there late at night and had some wonderful food which was reasonably priced. The place is a bit small and I wasn't sure what to do when I arrived, but I had a great meal.
Feels like more of a cafe (or even a takeaway place with some seating) than a restaurant, and seems slightly out of place on the otherwise fairly upmarket King's Road, but had some mezze here for lunch and it was actually pretty good.
Had a nice dinner with my parents. Great Customer Service, good quality food. I will definitely be returning.
Good, tasty food. Very reasonably priced especially if you consider the quality of the ingredients and staff.
Food was very fresh and Lamb was very delicious. But 'lebanese coffee' was too exotic for me.
Delious food, good sized portions and gave us a free desert too. Left feeling full and content ;)
Good food but tables are too close to each other. It is basically impossible to have a chat without being heard by other clients...
