Love this place, such a good vibe (might be showing my age using that word)! Music is amazing and cocktails are THE best! Really friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble- it!!!!!
Reserved a table on the day for two via FB. Quite expensive (even with happy hour) but the drinks taste great and the vibe is good. Could do with turning the music down a tad bit otherwise a great venue.

great cocktails.....great happy hour......great staff....loved it x
Good music and vibe... 😉
I've been there on a Friday and saturday. Friday live session was a bit too late but it was a good RnB live 👍🏼
Bartenders were GREAT and funny!!!
Very good service and nice cocktails :) Definitely we will come back
Yeah this place is great, missed the last tube.Buzzin.
Awesome place, one of my favourite spots to go in clapham, would be great if there where more like it
Cool venue, good stage for live music, great barstaff
Down visiting my daughter she took us here Sunday night was amazing . Accoustic duo were outstanding place was jumping and I knew nearly every song . Will definately be back .
As a tourist visiting from sunny South Africa, a girlfriend Annie booked us a table as this festive, friendly and fun club! What a night had by all. My first 5/5 in London.
Superb live music by Rosie Hopkins!
Superb and attentive service by one of the most gorgeous teams of barmen that I have laid eyes on (and a notable mention to the gorgeous Billy Protheroe who went over and above the necessary to ensure that we all had a wonderful time)!
Ice cold Prosecco..
*Recommendation: Ladies - this establishment is definitely in the business of hiring gorgeous bar staff, so you are in for a treat with all the eye candy walking around.
Venn street has to be my favourite street in Clapham (how boring is that for an opening line) but it makes me feel like I am on holiday and Venn Street records is an excellent addition to it.
The decor and ambience is awesome, slightly dingy with a heavy focus on music (as you would expect). The music is loud but that's what you expect with a place like this.
They do great deals for date nights in the week on cocktails and pizza and otherwise, yes the drinks are expensive but no-where near as bad as anywhere in central.
The staff are slightly on the side of ambivalent and on the wrong side of 'kooky', not exactly service with a smile but for a pre-drink on a weekend or a drink after work, it's somewhere a bit different to the chain bars on the high street.
One of the best live music cocktail bars I have been to in London.
The band the day I went was extremely good and super fun.
The place itself has a good playlist playing which is great. It has a nice miz of genres but nothing too hard or too soft.
The drinks were good and the staff was super friendly.
The toilets were as clean as possible before 10pm, after that it got really busy so I imagine it wasn't as clean but nevertheless the place was amazing.
Venn Street Records is a very good place to chill with friends, have some drinks and have fun. At some point the music gets loud as it is supposed to be like that so you can dance.
There is seating outside until a certain specific time which depends on the day.
My second time here. The first I went alone, a quick visit for a drink or two and a great tasting pizza, before a film.
This venue is a fantastic place to visit alone, or as two, even a group.
Great to chill out and enjoy an evening of cocktails🍸 or more, tasty pizza choices (though unfortunately the pizza oven was broken this time. That said, it was suggested by manager, that we could bring a pizza in from another restaurant on Venn Street, on this occassion🙂).
The live music entertainment May 8th bank holiday, was brilliant... A duo, a female singer with a great sounding voice & a guy on guitar 🎸 who also played well, they complemented each other and the gig was definitely a success! Their regular slot @ Venn Street Records Clapham is a Sunday evening! She got the small crowd in there involved, which was awesome, and makes live music entertainment even better to be a part of.
Staff where fantastic... happy, smiling, a great service, exceeding expectations and very accommodating.
Thank you ALL for allowing my partner & I to celebrate out 14th anniversary in style, and in a welcoming atmosphere, you helped make it memorable!
We enjoyed our night spent @ Venn Street Records.
We will definitely be back again soon!
👏😁
Really cute pub in Clapham! Loved the live music and the crowd. Would recommend it for a chill night out with friends to enjoy the music and drinks. We also had pizza and it was quite good!
I came here for live music on Thursday night. Not that packed like live venues in Soho, really great ambience to enjoy music with drinks. There are lots of tables inside and the drinks were also very nice
Never eaten here but the drinks and the atmosphere are always amazing, even for an older person like myself. The last time I was there they were even allowing people to bring in food from the surrounding restaurants (I assume because their kitchen was closed?). It’s my go to cocktail bar in Clapham!
Good vibe. Can get rather busy. Music can be too loud sometimes if tryna chat inside under the speakers. Otherwise nice drinks and place and sometimes live music!
Loved this spot! Small and cozy atmosphere with interesting decor and wonderful life music. Friendly bartender as well.
Bargain happy hour until 8pm. Gets busy / 30 minute queue for drinks from 7pm. Espresso martini could have used tasting before serving but overall great experience
Chill vibe with great music offerings throughout the week and solid coctails all 9.50 (typically doubles are standard). A warning that you might begin dancing. The artists they feature in are typically fun and the audio levels and quality are solid and not too loud (thank you!)
Compact venue, great atmosphere and delightful staff.
Toilet (mens) are comical small.
Although busy on visit, getting didn't take too long at all. Drink were reasonably priced for the location.
Seating outside available but was full upon arrival and was a cold night too.
No live music in visits but there was DJ playing l.
All social communities are welcomed here, LGBTQ friendly.
Bring ID.
Will happily return for a second visit
Great open mic on Wednesdays with some of the best singers I have ever seen (quite a few professional musicians play). They also have some good deals before 8pm so I highly recommend.
Fantastic vibe. A friend recommended the place for us to chill and chat. We then stayed for the live music. Great chilled duo. Think post modern jukebox vibes. Great cocktails too
Went for happy hour with my friends, the staff were amazing we kept going back to Cece for drinks because she was fantastic and attentive. When my friend was too drunk she also supported us and was very reassuring and helpful, everyone was super kind and helpful, the vibes were also amazing loved it !!
Loved it, great music and no cover!
Brilliant place! Live music and great people.
I popped in for some birthday drinks. The bar was super busy due the happy hour ending soon. Managed to get drinks and secure a table. Great live music. Would definitely go back.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and great cocktails.
Recommend to visit.
