Hidden gem alert! Amazing fresh ingredients and very attentive staff. I’ve visited the restuarant/wine bar a past work Christmas Party and returning as a happy customer :) thank-you for the wine & service. We turned up at around 8pm on Friday evening and were well looked after. 100% recommend

Had a lovely dinner here with a friend after work. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. We had a lovely bottle of Picpoul to share alongside some small plates. We weren’t rushed off our table and had a great time.

Really interesting menu. The raviolo stood out. My friend had the Ragu pasta with truffles of which I got jealous and I have to go back to try. They have a nice setup whether you're just after trying a few wines or have a table for a meal

First time here, real nice all around. Came here on a Sunday and booked for mid-afternoon and ended up staying for quite a bit longer, which is always a good sign. It's a hidden gem on the edge of the Spitalfield market, enough space for a variety of groups or with just another person. The only thing I would say was the service was a little slow considering it wasn't that busy. Solid A**** LDT x

Bottles in Spitalfields Market is a gem of a restaurant that left us with an unforgettable dining experience. From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. To begin, we indulged in the Sourdough & Ciauscolo as our starter. The spreadable ciauscolo was a delightful surprise, and we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing it for the first time. It set the tone for a memorable meal ahead. For our vegetarian option, we opted for the Arancini cime di rapa. The dish was bursting with flavour, and the gooey scamorza inside was a delightful touch. Even as meat lovers, we found this vegetarian dish to be incredibly satisfying. The Mazara pink prawns carpaccio was a true work of art. Its elegant presentation and subtle flavours, enhanced by a touch of pink peppercorns, left us wanting more. We simply couldn't get enough of this delectable creation. As for the main course, we decided to share the Onglet steak with fries. The meat was cooked to perfection, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at Bottles. The dish was a true highlight and left us thoroughly impressed. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we indulged in the Tiramisu for dessert. It was so good that one portion wasn't enough, so we ordered two! The Tiramisu was a fitting end to our meal, leaving us with a lingering taste of perfection. The stars of the evening were undoubtedly the wines, expertly recommended by the lovely Stefano, the maitre. We paired our starters with a white Timorasso from Piemonte, which delighted our palates with notes of apricot confit and cooked apples, with a hint of oxidation on the nose. With our main course, we enjoyed a superb Nebbiolo, boasting flavours of red cherries and a subtle touch of anise (Ghemme Paride Chiovini D.O.C.G.). The wine selection at Bottles truly elevated our dining experience. Lastly, we must mention the impeccable service provided by Stefano and the entire staff. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. Overall, our dining experience at Bottles was exceptional. The creative and delicious dishes, outstanding wine selection, and impeccable service all contributed to an unforgettable evening. Whether you're seeking a memorable dinner or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Bottles is a must-visit in Spitalfields Market, especially if you are a wine lover like me!

Wonderful food and wine with great service and knowledgable staff. Good value for the quality of food. An ideal stop for a quick bite and glass of wine as it is for a date night or catch up with friends. Cold cuts and pasta were excellent. Will be going back… a lot!

Initially we sat down for one drink and the plan was to go and find some bao. But then 1 glass eventually became 10 glasses between the 4 of us. It did help that the World Cup final started while we there. We didn’t have much food- the Sourdough & Ciauscolo with chutney, rucola & parmesan and the 3 cheese selection with some honey. Both were excellent. It’s not a cheap place. We enjoyed. Stacey was amazing- patient and smiling- all the time. Visited December 2022

Never noticed the place until tonight, while passing by randomly. Such a nice surprise: place is authentic, stylish and super comfortable - atmosphere amazing. But what made it so special was a lovely girl who welcomed us straight from the door, showed us our table, looked after us the entire time in a super nice and genuine way. Super kind, sweet and professional, her name is Gaia! Please thank her again from us :) Faby + Giulia
