Not bad food, a little on the oily side but then again Pakistani food usually is. Plenty of vegetarian options and reasonably priced! It has more of a cafe ambience than a restaurant!
Although this place is small and does not give off the vibe of being fun, it is quite decent inside. The food is great and tastes delicious. The best bit is that it is not expensive in the least. The menu houses the usual and classic Indian and Pakistani dishes and they have great quality.
I am eating Lahore Express food almost everyday, and I am a big fan of the food. Though the area need to be improved which could be complained. The food what i ate during some years there was nothing wrong with the food in fact I will say this restaurant food is one of the best restaurants food in London I ever ate. While I was about to give the review of the service and food I am eating I read many other people reviews as well some of them they were complaining about food and most of them are Pakistani, trying to devalue it as always we are doing in front of other people. Before doing this they need to think it twice what they doing. Anyways this place food is very appealing and tasty.
Authentic Indian restaurant with eat in or takeaway option available. We visited on Sunday and surprisingly it was quiet only a few locals. Price and portions are good but for my wife slightly bit spicy. Freshly made naan and daily specials.
Fantastic spice. Friendly staff. Canteen style seating area. Have had several friends say it's the best kebab they've ever had: that's the chicken or lamb. Fresh bread for every order and coriander, ginger, chilli chopped and waiting in tubs which can be added by chef.
I've been to the Lahore Express on a number of occasions. The grilled food is nice, reasonably priced and from my observations many locals eat in there which I consider to be a good sign.
Away from the grilled food there are also the more familiar dishes you'll find on any menu. I've not tried these as they don't look very appetising i.e. it's stored in steel canteen bowls, the oil rises to the top and it looks unimpressive. This is just an observation and to reiterate I've not tried the non-grilled dishes.
The service is acceptable. The staff don't converse too much but they do ensure the food is cooked well and they aren't rude.
My first takeaway from here today ! Honestly it was really good and value for money . The grill chicken was very tasty and the keabab roll was good as well . The plain nan bread was
fantastic . Just what I needed for Monday night . . Only service is issue here !!!!!
Ordered food for my family, and food came out perfect! Everyone was satisfied and asked where i got it from. Great family run business, father and son at the front desk were very kind. Highly recommended.
Cheap eat in and takeaway place where you can get a kebab roll and lamb samosas.
Flavoursome, authentic food. Biryani and kebab rolls are delicious. Basic looking eatery, but look past that and try it.
Best grilled chicken @ 4.50 pounds. Eat there every other day. Haven't tried anything else there, though
I really enjoy having the lamb saag curry along with a doner roll
I recommend the Halwa puri...
Staff could a lot friendlier
Rough and ready. But food is good. I have the lamb tikka roll meal every time.
Great food. Favorite curry place. Excellent price-quality.
Always great tasting food. Prices have gone up though
