Affordable and delicious chicken katsu curry rice in Paddington area with sufficient portion (it comes in 2 sizes: regulr and large). And I must say, the service is very pleasant and warm. Nice place for comfort Japanese food near the Paddington station.
Wanted something light as a takeaway at the end of a superhot day.
There didn't seem to be any other Chinese places around Paddington, so requested the husband to pick up a takeaway from Chozen on his way home.
The chicken Gyoza was very very good and we also lived the duck rolls. The sushi is the best that I have tasted in this neighbourhood.
I'm not crazy about Udon, so I'm not surprised that I didn't like the noodles too much. The chicken Thai green curry had pineapple in it which was unusual, but not unpleasant. Actually the curry and rice was a great meal with some spicy chilli paste from my collection of sauces at home.
Very fast service and husband said they were clean. I'll have to step into the location myself when I next walk past.
Remember the rolls & Gyoza are best eaten hot, they lose all texture if you let them stand for too long.
Great place near Paddington station if you like Asian food and Sushi. They make the sushi fresh every day and the hot food is also excellent. I tried the Red Thai curry which had a great taste . You could taste the thai basil and lemongrass. A real step up from the normal quick serve .
Will be back :)
Chozen noodles is a chain of Oriental food served fast over the counter. The prawn snack and duck spring rolls are amazing. Rice with chicken Thai curry is good as well.
just visited this great Asian cafe close to Paddington station . On the way to see some family at St Marys Hospital I popped in for a quick bite. Friendly server recommended the Red Thai Chicken, which was great value at £5.25. Went back later to take advantage of the 99p frozen yogurt offer. Will visit again to try the sushi which looks really fresh . See photo I took of them making it to order. My buddy had one of the Udon soups also looked good
Love it as it doesn't have too many onions like Wasabi's. The manager was great and she even offered me more sauce upon request. The other waiters after 2.30pm can be quite passive and non responsive.
Excellent selection of fresh sushi and some classic Japanese and Thai Curry dishes. My favourite was the Green Thai curry which had a great authentic taste with hints of lemongrass and thai basil. So much better than the Leon & other quick serve companies. At £5.75 including rice and noodles it was real value
I attended at 7.40pm on a weekday after visiting nearby hospital.
The chicken is halaal, which is a plus. We chose the chicken katsu curry and it was served quickly. The portion size was good and it was lovely piping hot.
The gentleman serving us was very welcoming and wished us a good evening.
The restaurant has a small seating area and was very clean on a quick visual observation.
There is also a well stocked drinks cabinet.
We will definitely be coming back for more if we are in the area 👍🏼
Had a great pitstop here. If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't going to do it for you because that's not what this place is about. Very solid food for a good price and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Katsu curry was very satisfying. Definitely pop in if you need a speedy bite.
Great if you fancy a dose of chicken Katsu curry however... although the portion sizes are great, the containers are too small as the staff always overload on the curry sauce! This is where Wasabi have one over on Chozen Noodle I'm afraid.
Well above average Asian food. I eat here and Itsu regularly . Chozen does the best hot food . Green Thai Curry is mega if you like spicy Staff always great & sushi looks good as well.
Delicious food.....!!!! My favourite place to eat chicken curry
Very good selection of chinese food. Prices are low in comparision to local restaurants. If we are really hungry, there is a large box for about 7,5 punds(smaller ~6pounds).If you are tourist in London and searching for something satianting and cheap, it is a good choice. Otherwise try to find another place, so it's just fastfood restaurant with nothing special inside.
Fairly basic Japanese style noodle bar in Paddington. There's a good selection of food, it's fresh and tasty, while the staff are friendly, and happy to make recommendations.
Pretty good, but not quite great. Can only comment on the vegetarian curries though. Far better than most of the food options inside Paddington station
Good Japanese noodle bar in Praed Street, Paddington. Very useful for lunch and quick snacks. Reasonable prices for Central London.
