Went for a beer before a Fulham match. Full of (very noisy) Leeds fans. Lots of staff on meant that I didn’t have to wait too long for a drink. Relaxed attitude of staff meant that banter between fans and staff never got out of hand. Don’t go out for a smoke however as you won’t get back in.
Went there before and after football yesterday . Great choice of drinks with exceptional food and friendly staff.Brilliant pub for watching football as TVs and screens everywhere . Thoroughly recommend going there!!
Lovely food and great friendly bar staff. Would recommend to friends

The Temperance is definitely the go to bar, whether you are looking to stuff your belly or just looking for a beer then one of the tens of them will definitely hit the spot. The best part is that you can never get bored of The Temperance since they have different deals every day of the week AND a new DJ every Friday as well! Btw the DJ Beavers on the 2nd of September will be amazing.
Excellent watering hole for us Boro fans yesterday. Made to feel very welcome.
A pretty big TV is the first thing of note. So if you are a sports fan you are well taken care of az Millwall was on as i sat there. There are also two pool tables which gives the impression that this spot is more fot the blokes. For me, I was comfortable. Reasonably priced drinks and a whole lotta space. I bet this places gets heaving. The central bar is in a great location to serve a thirsty crowd. There are stairs up to a mezzanine area and the food is similiar to my favourite after work haunt Argyle as they are part of the same group. Good place if you are local, a stones throw away from the station if you are not and right next to the river if you fancy a waterside walk pre or post drinks.
Stopped by Temperance a few times while I was on vacation to catch some matches. It's a large, wide open pub. The food, amenities, and friendly staff make it a great place to watch a football match.
Love this pub and always pop in when local. Staff are friendly and always down for a bit of banter, service is fast and efficient and the food is always delicious and cooked to perfection, would definitely recommend the BB king with buttermilk chicken here 🤤 Dog friendly too which is great!
A really nice pub in Fulham, food is great, huge variety of lagers and craft beer, they have 2 pool tables and a lot TVs, really recommend if you’re in the area
Ah, The Temperance! A glorious beacon of relaxation just a hop, skip, and a jump from Putney Bridge, standing tall with its rich history as the former Temperance Billiards Hall. Recently, I had the pleasure to pay a visit after its fresh refurbishment and let me tell you, it’s a stunner!
One would think the proximity to Craven Cottage Stadium would mean a chaotic sports crowd and not much space for the spontaneous visitor. And true, as I stepped in for what was supposed to be 'just a drink', the ambiance hinted at an upcoming sporting showdown. The screens—oh, the many screens—were all prepped for an adrenaline-filled evening of sports on SKY Sports HD and ESPN. Yet, despite the imminent rush, the gracious host managed to find a cosy corner for us. A true testament to the attentive and courteous nature of the staff!
While I didn’t delve into their food this time around, the buzz around is that The Temperance offers a delightful mix of traditional pub grub with a sprinkle of British classics. My eyes did dart over to a table indulging in what looked like hearty plates of comfort. The aroma was quite tempting, and given their commitment to simple, tasty, freshly-prepared dishes, I'm eager to return.
Oh, and ale lovers, rejoice! The Temperance takes its brew seriously, boasting a rotating selection of real ales from all over the UK. A little birdie told me they're always open to customer preferences, so you might just find your favourite ale waiting for you on your next visit.
In short, if you're looking for an oasis amidst the London frenzy, with a touch of history, sporting thrill, and heartwarming hospitality, The Temperance is the spot. Cheers to many more visits!

This pub never fails to disappoint, absolutely amazing service and atmosphere. The food is outstanding quality in comparison to many other venues, definitely recommend!
The is a wonderful pub towards the end Fulham Highlights Street. Excellent for watching live sporting events . Rad, The barman was so friendly , talkative and helpful . Would definitely recommend it if you are in this part of London ,,,
Excellent bar service, well-poured beer, great value food (we had 2-4-1 pizza costing less than £10 - really couldn’t knock it at all. Thin sourdough base, good toppings, better and cheaper than Franco Manca). I’ve lived in the area 6 years and never yet visited until today. We’ll be back; this is a proper pub, run well, doing simple things excellently. What more could you want? Here with a group watching the football - ample TVs are well distributed throughout. I’m really impressed. Thank you!
Amazing place with a really good environment. Food was really nice and we received a very nice treat from all staff.
Great atmosphere, great service. Would highly recommend going with friends to have a good time. Well done to the staff.
My wife and I visited the Temperance Fulham for drinks. A good range of drinks and the staff are very friendly. Revd Matt at the Temperance 😆
Being near to Craven Cottage it's nice to find a pub that makes us away fans welcome. The staff are friendly and efficient and you're not kept waiting considering it gets packed on match day, I wait longer in my local when it's nigh on empty. I've now been there 3 times and I'm never disappointed. The beer is good and the prices very reasonable. If you are passing, pop in you will like it.
Nice atmosphere, food and drinks. I like various types of ale and they have a great selection. Lots of screens to watch sports from anywhere you sit or stand. Decent pool tables as well. The staff are nice. I was served well by Jada. She was very helpful and pleasant. Was more than happy to leave her a big tip :)
Food was spot on, the service excellent, it was quiet so not sure what atmosphere would be like at weekend or night time.
Always room to watch the sport. Good food, good value. And the staff are always great and really care..
AMAZING pub with fantastic interior. Good range of ales and extremely friendly helpful staff
The most warning and welcoming pub. Lots of teles, good great and staff amazing. Thanks Rad xx
Definitely one to go to for the football and drinks. The foot is better than some of the other local pubs
