Four of us had a brilliant meal here this evening - the best Turkish I've had in a long time. Very generous helpings of salad and bread, extremely kind and welcoming staff and free desert and Turkish tea too! They even sent us away with containers of the rice pudding they had left over. We'll be back!
Brilliant. Just brilliant. Friendly staff and massive portions. I'm known for my appetite and my wife is pregnant. We couldn't finish the set meal for two!! Best Turkish I've been to and I've been to loads.

Renamed Bizim Mangal. Very tasty food better than before. Good quality meat, homemade also they have stews if you fancy rice and stews. Good kebabs, mixed grills tasty rice and bread. Decent portions as well. Cheerful customer service. Can't fault. They've changed ownership and name from previous people i was concerned at first as i didn't realise it had changed but ordered any way as kids and I were hungry. The quality+taste is still good and the option for home stews is great. There was a Turkish place near Camden Town that offered the same when I worked in that area and I was pleased when I saw it as the stews were tasty and felt healthy and homely. We just ordered shish kebabs lamb and chicken served with rice and salad which the kids loved and when I saw the stews I was tempted to order one of them as well. Yum yum. Updated two weeks later. Just went back for a mixed grill and got the lamb stew with aubergine as well. Delicious.
Currently eating a chicken shish i just bought from here and it's great!! I didn't think good value, convenient and healthy fast food options existed in Penge, but this has just ticked all the boxes. Bulgur wheat, fresh salad, generous amount of chicken and flat bread for £8.95! Friendly staff too.
This place is always great! Eat in or take away its good fresh food at a fair price. All main courses come with plenty of rice, bulgar, salad, sauces and special bread. Staff are bubbly and kind 10/10.
Pide 5/10 Fresh fish 7/10 somethings on the menu might not be available. So wellworth phoning ahead to save disappointment. From our experience. The freshness of the food served is a big plus. The fresh bread and dips at the start of the meal is 5* please note if you over indulge you might have little room !eft for your main.

Staff are top drawer. Always friendly. The food is also exceptional, and you get excellent value for money. A big fave at Gill HQ.
Really clean shop and restaurant. Fresh produce, all made in house or in the neighborhood. We had grilled sea bream, and one of the house specials which was lamb doner with a tomato based sauce and a dollop of yoghurt. Very tasty. The doners (chicken and lamb) are home made and made from whole meats pieces rather than the grey mush you see in dodgy kebab shops. Service is good and attentive, although a slight language barrier is sometimes present. They make fresh pide (Turkish pizza) as well. not the cheapest kebab shop, but that is understandable given the quality and flavour of their food.
Lovely fresh food and lovely people treated us like family, I ordered a dish and it was too spicy for me and they remade it to have no spices and it was very lovely.well be returning again soon.
Nice food, nice staff, nice atmosphere almost a Mediterranean family cafe feel. Everyone is welcome. They are very busy so service can tend to be slow.

I'm a big Turkish food fan and I have to say that today I have had the best lahmacun I have ever had out of Turkey/Cyprus in this place. I've recently moved to the area and I'm sure that I'll be a regular here!
