A nice little pub with friendly staff. We had the Sunday Roast which was plentiful and tasty. Some just needed cooking more. The potatoes weren't crisp at all and the veg was quite hard. Really nice stodgy yorkshire puddings though and lovely gravy. Good amount of different vegetables. A busy place too being right by Borough Market.

Intimate atmospheres with great food. Tablet online ordering didn't work which would be my only constructive feedback since they are so crowded ordering way the bar is time consuming. Despite three crowd though there was plenty of seating at the lower levels.

Popped by on Saturday and it was a quaint and traditional place with a lovely atmosphere! It's around £7 for a pint, which is obviously slightly on the expensive side but as expected because of its location. Service was really quick and efficient. I was served by Sasha, we had a nice chat and loved the recommendations she made! Definitely my favourite place in Borough market area and can't wait to return soon...

This place has made my first trip to London an amazing success. The haddock here is truly glorious!!! Beautifully breaded and fried. It was topped with the finest minced green onion and flaked salt. Not a drop of sauce or dip needed to make your mouth sing !!! But the true jewel for this Yankee is the macaroni & cheese. I have always thought that non American made cheese was overdone, overpowering, needlessly pretentious, I like my bland cheese!!! I will say it was perfectly blended creamy and bold without a hint of the fact that making cheese was an art & science that took thousands of years to perfect. I enjoyed many pints of very cold Peroni and enjoyed the sites around me of the charming Southbank neighborhood and the beautiful people in it

After a previous visit which got off to a poor start, the manager dealt well with feedback and gracefully invited us to return for a meal. The venue is fun with atmospheric cellar spaces and was lively when we visited on a Wednesday evening. Food was tasty and well presented . I enjoyed the cauliflower wings and chicken schnitzel, flavoursome, good sized portions and good value for central London. Service on the return visit was friendly and attentive despite the busy venue. Much improved on previous occasion

Very nice experience! Tons of empty tables downstairs and very easy to order with the QR code on the table. The food and drinks arrived quickly and tasted good. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had. The sourdough loaf was way dry and crispy, like a huge crouton so I'd advise skipping that.

Great traditional pub at Borough market, feels like the good old days. This pub offers a good selection of beers including Camden pale ale!

Cuisine different from all and interesting for a visitor. However, I would try to spice up the dishes. The downside is the need to "catch" the service. It does not change the fact that they are polite and act quickly.

Closes sharply. You get the last call bell then it's out. It's a lively spot and quite loud. Really pretty traditional pub interiors if it's quiet enough for you to take in the building and fit out... Plenty of beer choices. We didn't eat so I can't comment, had we not arrived so late on Friday evening I'm not sure we would have got a table. Easy stagger to London Bridge when one wants to call it a night.
