Excellent food great service would highly recommend
One of the best Indian joints I’ve visited in London. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. £30 will feed two people easily.
Home delivery. Excellent flavours. Very poite staff. Very reasonably priced. Punctual. Will be replacing the current 'Curry House' number in my phone with Taj Mahals. Haven't eaten in their restaurant yet but will.
Staff are always friendly and accommodating and the food never fails to impress! Really delighted to live near such a fantastic restaurant!
I have been visiting and ordering from this place for ages now and have never been left disappointed.
The absolutely devour their chicken tikka masala and the keema naan. Both these dishes are deletable and taste through-and-through Indian.
Order the classics and remember to taste the crisp pappad they serve!
Absolute bliss!
This was our first time at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Albeit the portions, everything about this place seemed close to be decently well. The dishes were served in small portions, especially the chutneys which were not enough for a party of four.
I will not run back to this place that frequently, however, I would suggest giving it a one time try at least.
I have visited this place several times with my partner and I must say that it is one of my favourites! The food here is palpable and flavoursome every time we are here. One does not feel unreasonable paying the money the bill demands. Overall, if you are looking for a meal which is yummy and value for money, then this is a good bet!
This is a very reliable food joint which owned by a family. The exteriors of the place might look pretentious to many, but i say ,ignore that for the super good value for money. The dishes offered at these prices are delicious. In all my visits, my bill has never exceeded more than 17 dollars per person.
I definitely suggest trying the spicy lamb dish which is hot but memorable!
You can safely try this place out.
I went to this restaurant on the suggestion of a friend a couple of days back, and loved the overall experience. The restaurant is peaceful and decorated like a luxury train from the inside. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.
Our food came on time and was utterly delicious. I've visited a lot of Indian restaurants around London, but this was, no doubt, my best Indian dining experience ever.
The food here is simply amazing!
The taste and the flavors emerging from the food was outstanding. In my opinion, this place was very aptly priced and easy on the pocket. The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful.

We walked in on a whimp and had a very good experience. The ambience wasn’t the greatest with only another couple dinning and half of the restaurant in the dark but the food was delicious and the waiter was friendly. Maybe over the weekend there’s more of an upbeat feel to it. I’ll def be back, not only for the food but also for the good value..
Excellent curry, one of the best currys ever. My favourite curry house when I visit Putney. They do BYOB and have a small selection of alcohol drinks. Very good quality and not greasy.
We'd give 4.5stars if we could. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was because they took almost 10min before taking our order. The food was delicious and their service (once they took our order) was very good.
Great food and unbelievably good prices. Plus it's BYOB with no corkage fees. This is a bit of an underrated gem.
We came here for dinner for the first time and was not disappointed.
The service is excellent and the food is made very authentically! Being Indian myself I can say it's almost as good as my mums home made cooking. If you fancy indian please try this restaurant... you will be glad you did. 10/10

Food was good though
Decent local Indian food, it's a nice place to dine in although does take away that's amongst the best in the area. Price and value for money are consistent for the area, in the mid-range. The staff are nice although the older ones tend to be distinctly old school (abrupt, somewhat curt) which occasionally verges on frustrating. Given its a small place, I've also found it a pity you often can't order or get your bill quickly (even if they're not attending to others). Would definitely recommend it if you're local, but it's not a place for those passing through the area.
Small place tucked amongst other eateries. Not the most stimulating ambiance here but clean and simple. It wasn't busy when we visited but the food and service was good. Very varied menu, lamb shashlik, butter prawns, sag aloo, poppadoms and vegetarian Mahari brought no complaints from our table. Others have said its expensive but we had a meal for 3 to satisfy our appetites for under £50. Seemed reasonable value to me and we all enjoyed it.

We have lived in Putney for 10 yrs and have tried a huge number of Indian takeaways in Putney / Wandsworth / Fulham / East Sheen. This is definitely our favourite and you can taste the Indian spices in the food. The staff are extremely pleasant and the chicken is decent quality (which a lot of other restaurants have foregone to go down the cheap water based reconstituted route). You can clearly taste the difference. As a result we've been going to this take away for years. Contrary to other reviews, it's not expensive - you get what you pay for - decent ingredients
Food tasted great and is always cooked to a high standard; we had a Dhansak, tandoori lamb chops and chicken rogan. Staff were friendly and let you eat your meal in peace, only bad thing is that they have now opened the back windows to the train tracks outside, but it is upper richmond road so there are going to be traffic noises anyway.
This is a very good traditional Indian restaurant with friendly service and good food. I had the chicken bhoona and one of the best I've had. Good value for money too
Beautiful meal, good quality ingredients. Chicken was cooked perfectly. For a very modest price!

Fantastic chicken tikka masala, excellent prawn 🦐 patia and possibly the most delicious naan I've ever had. Will try more to see if it deserves 5 stars.
