Overall a great Chinese takeaway! Ordered from here many times over the past few years and the the food has been consistently great apart from once. Crispy shredded beef is always crispy and tasty and the special fried rice and the salt and pepper ribs are always on point. Compared to other takeaway
Great food, good menu and fair price. Delivery is also in quick time which is great and they are always very friendly. Been getting take away from them for about 3 years now and I can't say I've ever thought about getting my Chinese from anyone else so it must be good!
Seems to be an odd one.
The food we got was tasty, cheap, on time and on Just Eat 4+/5 so it might be better as a takeaway than a restaurant.
Plus the wife asked them to sing me happy birthday on delivery... Instead the driver got me a birthday card.
This was the best Chinese takeaway and i’ve had! The vegetarian shredded duck and satay chicken was so like the real thing and so full of flavour! Me and my friends were very impressed 👌🏼

Never had a problem with The Golden Star. Had a wonderful meal last Saturday (07/11/20). Generous portions and speedy delivery at a very good price.
Best chicken chow mein - LOADS of good sized pieces of chicken!
