I did like this place however, it's a shame that when they opened, they were putting away the pastries without having set up. If it is planned better this will not happen. I had to stand around waiting for them to set up the tables. Also, the pastries were laid out not covered. I pointed this out.

I absolutely loved getting some fresh food to go at this cafe. Incredibly delicious and staff went above and beyond in every way. They make a world a better place and I always leave with a big smile. Thank you !

Had an oat flat white and a vegan mince pie during the hustle and bustle of the Sunday Herne Hill Farmer’s Market. The coffe was surprisingly tasty, but don’t expect any fancy latte art at this place and the mince pies was perfectly decent. Obviously, the place was crowded but service was efficient

Plenty of seats. Good service, except for no teaspoons for drinks. Good coffee.

Lot's of tasty pastry and coffee! I love the backyard table section, it's small but very cozy.

We ordered two large birthday cakes from Blackbird Bakery in Herne Hill. They were a great success for our sons 30th birthday party. The service was superb, and staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it. A real success. Thank you to Mad and Millie for all your help.

Fabulous customer service and delicious cake! We had a fantastic time at Blackbird Bakery Herne Hill this Sunday (28th November) We'd come in to shelter from the cold on a busy Sunday afternoon and had some tea and delicious carrot cake! All the girls that were working there were doing a terrific

Gorgeous little bakery..Gorgeous staff.. my favourite cafe as well..

Staff were helpful on this busy day by making a sandwich for my son without dairy in it. Coffee was reasonable (well made but a bit bland). Cake we had was good too. Got really busy the Saturday lunchtime we visited with a long queue forming by 12:30.
