Here last night for a wedding reception and the food was great. The staff were amazing and very amenable. Lovely garden, beautiful setting.
Brilliant pub...great food and service in lovely old pub...large outside area also....
Vastly improved ambience. Garden restored to the beauty of 10 years past. Lush and shady. With the same magnificent magnolia tree halfway down the very long garden. Expensive, but on a sunny summer's afternoon/evening you won't bear any grudges. Not eaten here of late, but back in the premier league as a venue.
Loved this place. Was taken by how friendly the staff and patrons are.
Think it's amazing a man could come in and have a beer with his dog by his side.

Been here a few times, twice for birthday lunch and drinks and then most recently went here for a hen night a couple weekends ago, staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was delicious, I have allergies and the staff were attentive and helpful in making my decision with what to eat. Also a great selection of flavoured gin is available. We had two tables in the stable area, the staff didn’t charge us extra for this which was very kind. The battered sausage starter is also a must. Thanks a lot.
First visit in 47 years, and it was like going back in time. Hasn't been all tarted up and painted green......it's just a good, plain, old fashioned pub.....BRILLIANT !
Lovely location. Small pub inside but outside seating was great with heating. Friday night was busy but food and drink was quick when ordered via the app.
The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered roast beef and roast pork and both were cooked to perfection with fresh veggies and a giant well cooked Yorkshire pudding! Will definitely be dining her again and recommending to everyone I know! Great service too!
Nice pub with a huge beautiful back garden. There is also a covered outdoor sitting area for those rainy days. Nice atmosphere and service. The staff is nice and attentive. Food is 5* for a pub menu. One of the best pubs in Barnes area.
Came to the pub last week with a group of my mates, the pub has such a lovely atmosphere and a great choice of beers. Served by Ella, who was both friendly and welcoming and will definitely come back!
Came here for a 70th birthday part hosted in the barn. The pub has a lot of space! The platters we were served were delicious and the staff were lovely. Would recommend and would definitely come here again ☺️
I hosted an amazing birthday party there this Saturday. Sam , the Aussie event manager was so welcoming and kind, couldn’t have achieved such an amazing party without his expertise. Super grateful to Sam and the fun team that were on that night, it definitely was an awesome night. Highly recommend Sam, worth his weight in gold-)
Always a lovely place for a pint in the garden, especially in the sunshine. Came last week and was served by Ella who was so welcoming and attentive. Will be back soon!!
A fine dark wood panelled pub offering a good selection of beers and wines. Lovely enclosed garden area and event space as well. Excellent service by happy staff, a most enjoyable pint!
Thank you for helping with organising our school get together. It’s such a lovely space in the garden and the function room is a great size! Food and service was excellent and the whole evening was perfect!
Such a fun place. I love the outside patio heating. My kids had a blast running around with friends and we got to pet a neighbor's dog. This place felt like a real community.
Plus.... Raclette all day, everyday!!! You must do it.

I hired the Stable room for my 40th birthday and I cannot stress enough how fantastic the night was thanks to the gorgeous venue and amazing staff!
From my first contact with Sam and his team via email, with various questions from me, they were always quick to respond and really really accommodating.
The room is such an amazing space, decorated tastefully, with its own bar and gorgeous lighting. It really is a real gem for private space in the area. I hired a musician to play some live music and it was perfect in the space. (Marc Oliver)
The pubs garden also has such a lovely vibe with its lights and little huts and the fact that it's absolutely ginormous.
On the evening, Nicky was a complete Queen serving behind the bar and kept us all topped up (sorry for the increasing tipsyness and questionable choice in my music Nicky! Legend!)
As for Sam, what an absolute hero.
Unbeknown to me my friend had organised for a Mary Poppins tribute actress to pop by for a surprise visit, complete with carpet bag, parrot umbrella and a song sheet 🤣🤣 Sam and his team apparently ensured she had space to change in and I think were on hand to make sure I didn't clock Mary early 🤣
It was a 'practically perfect' night, and wouldn't have been anywhere near half as good if I hadn't had the party at the Coach and Horses.
Everybody raved about the room and staff and we will definitely be back for our next celebration!

Lovely pub garden despite astro turf. Friendly helpful staff, good drinks service, food took a while but manager made it up to us. Thanks for looking after us after terrible experience at Bulls Head.

I can't thank these guys enough, they were absolutely brilliant.
I boooked the back room for an artist meeting, when l arrived they had set it all up with Coach and Horses headed paper and pens.
Thanks guys you made a meeting run smoothly, your stars are shining, thanks to Sam and his staff team.

The coach has gone through a transformation. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
It has a good atmosphere, fantastic garden, good food and a good selection of wine, beer and spirits.
Also an ideal place to have functions, weddings, birthdays and funerals. The coach is very supportive to community based groups and societies. We'll worth checking it out.
The coach is planning to do Christmas lunch this year, worth keeping an eye out for their Christmas menu.
