They deserve 5 star, I believe they do the best fish & chips been going here since 2007. I’ve tried many fish and chips restaurants nothing close as Parsons Green fish bar,
They don’t skimp on the amount of chips and the fish is well cooked. You don’t go hungry!
Chicken and chips were great and the place was very neat. Food hygiene is very important and it was great to see them practicing that. Staff was nice and professional.
A friend told me about this Fish &Chips place in Parson green, and I was almost forgotten, then one early afternoon, my Gentleman Friend suggest whether we should hop along to the Fish & Chips, since not much happening during the locked down, so, I agreed for the treats.
And, honestly to God! I could not decide what was better between a Big Fillet of COD or the Chips.
The whole experience was totally unexpected. And that afternoon, told me all fish and chips are not the same, and this little ordinary fish and chips was the best I had for a long time.
Reason!? Normally, either fish nor the Chips are equally good, but their home made chips were alone stand out, and the COD was just top it all up.
Please give them a try, reasonable price (before they become famous), really. Come out of Parson Green Underground station and it should be on the left from the main road entrance (Google map should help).
Enjoy.
Nice thick chips when done fresh. Fish is okay but nothing to write home about. Kebabs are not done well as they over stuff with salad, so cannot pick them up in your hands and the meat goes cold quickly
Fantastic. Just need to warn customer if fish will take 10 mins. It's worth the wait but we need to know! The food is delicious, freshly cooked, great lunchtime deal as well on fish and chips. Close to the station so always tempting!
Really good cod and chunky chips. Their batter is top-shelf, very light and the fish always fresh. Nice guys working in there too. A solid go-to chippy in Parsons and now on Deliveroo thankfully!
As a builder working constantly in Fulham/Parsons green trying to find a hot meal on cold days to be able to eat on a 30 minute lunch break is rather difficult. This place is a blessing for people like myself who want something they can get quickly and head back to eat in half an hour.
Despite the location, the prices are very reasonable. You are able to get most of their options for under £5 and the portion sizes especially the chips are reasonable.
Chicken is freshly cooked and the chips are some of the best take away chips I’ve had. Fish is always fried fresh but don’t often get it as it does take time to cook. Calling up before is the best way for the freshly cooked orders.
Very friendly staff and if you’re a regular you will be remembered!
Our local since many years.Delicious chips. Best in this area Fish is so fresh nicest fish and chips in London. Many locals go here for a reason. Nobody beats them
Used to go to Maria’s on Wandsworth Bridge Rd, but found it closed. I’d promised my wife fish & chips for dinner so couldn’t go home without them. Googled fish & chips near me and found this restaurant in Parsons Green, was a little dubious as I like to see an overall 4 in the ratings. Took a chance, as closest to me. Wow was a glad I did - excellent fish & chips, I had a freshly cooked cod as good as any I’ve ever had. Friendly service, nothing really to be faulted. I can imagine a bit chaotic on Chelsea home fixtures, maybe that’s why the average score isn’t in the 4’s. That said by experience is an absolute solid 5 👍
Great food for good prices, the staff are always friendly and the shop is visibly clean. Typical chip shop menu with added items like bbq chicken and patties. Close to Stamford Bridge, Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green.
Very fresh fish chips cooked just right I had a kebeb so full of meat. Well worth a visit. Just be careful of the hot wings there nice but VERY HOT
