I came here with my family for brunch. We travelled a good 10 miles. So this had to be worth the travel.
We went on a Saturday at 2 pm and easily found a space. I was worried that there would be a queue but there wasn't even though it was very busy inside.
It's not a massive cafe but they have done well given the space. Even though the tables are placed close to each other, they are laid out in a way where you still feel you are separated sufficiently. The decor, seating and ambience are welcoming and comfy.
We had to wait 30 minutes before our order arrived. That's a little too long in my opinion and that's why I gave it a 4/5 star.
We ordered the Mediterranean breakfast, pancakes, eggs benedict, oreo milkshake, pink tea and some cappuccino.
My very picky son gave the pancakes 10/10 and silently chomped away, enjoying the mixture of sweet and savoury items on his plate. It appeared to be a platter of pancakes, eggs, rashers and fruit.
My daughter enjoyed her egg benedict and liked the fact that the waitress gave her the option of a runny or set yolk.
My wife and I ordered the Mediterranean option which had 2 eggs, 2 beef sausages, olives, a selection of halloumi and white cheese, fries, spring roll and salad. It was of good quality and well-presented.
The staff were well mannered and always smiling.
All in all, it was a trip worth our while and I would visit this place again. What was also very nice is that just across the road, there is a nice Islamic bookshop that has a huge variety of gifts, literature and clothing. So we decided to do a quick drop-in there too.
10/10 in every aspect. Delicious Food, top service, setup, cleanliness. Didn’t have to wait long. Would definitely visit again and happily recommend.
Lovely cafe and interior with good food and service. I went for Eggs Florentine with a Chai Latte. Although the drink came 10 minutes after receiving the food, the latte was really nice. The eggs were poached perfectly and it also came with a side salad. Parking is not easy to find but overall the experience at the cafe was enjoyable.
Food is lovely and all halal, very good quality and great service. The restaurant is fairly small but has a decent amount of seating and the decor is lovely. My only negative was that I wasn't allowed to exchange any of the items on the menu for other foods, I got the veggi breakfast and wanted my eggs poached and was told I couldn't have that and when I got the avocado breakfast the next day, I had to keep the falafel even though I didn't want it because I couldn't get anything in exchange. Would recommend, just wish they allowed maybe 1 exchange on their breakfasts so you could swap something for what you truly want.
I LOVE this place! Alhamdulillah for everything, the food is amazing and they serve it so beautifully, the place is not so big but very cozy. When me and my group came we had to wait for abit 30 min because it was already full in there which was fine for us, we all have heard so much good about Cobblers Cafe!
The staff are so friendly and helpful, I love when family business goes really good. Makes me so happy! ❤️
Ps. Everything is Halal 🤲
You guys should consider to expand to Sweden as well, things like this isn't common around here, if do please come to Uppsala or Stockholm!
I absolutely loved Cobblers Cafe! It's a place I would wholeheartedly recommend. From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff wanted us to sit comfortably so, they helped with my child and the pram. The staff, service, and management were all beyond amazing. It was our first time dining there, and boy, were we in for a treat! We left with smiles on our faces and happy hearts, knowing that we made the right choice. Speaking of choices, the value for money is definitely worth it. Trust me, you won't regret it!
I and my friend shared the lunch:
Drinks:
Mojita - virgin
Strawberry & banana smoothie 😋
Main:
Creamy chicken pasta 😋 😍
Dessert:
Pastachio pancakes 🥞 😋
Point to note:
Don't look at the menu uploaded on here as i made that mistake and the prices have changed dramatically.
Visited this place on a whim on a weekend late afternoon. Luckily, the place was quiet as there is limited seating.
There are number of items of the menu, mainly brunch items and array of pancakes available.
I played it somewhat safe and got a chicken strip salad, however I did also try the falafel and hummus salad and pancakes.
The chicken was well marinated, flavoured and tasty. It was moist and tender, which was great as I believe they may have used breast for this. The salad tasted lovely too.
The falafel was great as well, not many places in UK where I have experienced good falafel. Flavoured, fried well and crunchy.
The pancakes tasted great too, with a generous amount of toppings.
Also got some chai, which was a generous portion and tasted good with a nice balance of the flavours - well presented too.
Overall, a really nice little spot for food and I hope to visit again in the future to try out other items on the menu, with two slight caveats being the limited seating and pricing is a little high.
This was a lovely place that had bags of atmosphere and was deceptively big inside with plenty of seating.
The staff were very courteous and we're ready for their patrons at all times.
I had the breakfast which was enjoyable. Considering this is a halal cafe, I was surprised to see an English Breakfast on the menu.
Obviously no pork products, with sausages and bacon replaced with beef sausages and turkey rashers respectively. Presentation wise all the food was wonderfully arranged and appetising.
I wasn't a huge fan of the substituted sausage and rashers, however the complete meal was really very good, especially the egg and hash browns. The drinks were good but very strong. I had a mocha, which was nice but quite intense.
My daughter had the pancakes which she enjoyed, especially the chocolate sauce, cream and banana.
I didn't get a chance to try the lovely pastries and the Honey Cake on this occasion, but will definitely be back to give it a go. All in all, it was very good and I'm very curious to return to try other menu items.
A very nice and cosy coffee shop in Edmonton.
Warm and welcoming. Good selection on the menu.
Food came at a good time. Latte was nice.
Well cooked and portion size was decent. Reasonably priced.
Ideal for families.
Wonderful cafe with amazingly friendly staff
The breakfast and French toast as well as the drinks was all absolutely great.
Fresh tasty and good portions
Definitely recommend this place and a place I would go again. Thank you cobblers cafe for a wonderful breakfast experience
Went at a very busy time and waited up to 30 minutes for our seats. It's worth the wait!
The order was spot on, beautifully presented, and the ambience was very comforting.
The desi karak ginger tea was divine.
We ordered 5 various dishes (breakfast) which were a fine range for our non-sophisticated palate.
Look forward to visiting again.
Good breakfasts, however when we asked for brown toast instead of white, apparently £1 extra. That’s not really fair, no other place we’ve been to does this, they did then say that they’ll let us off, however that should not be policy.
One of the breakfasts, I ask for egg to be broached instead, they said no. Is it that difficult?
A couple with kids were made to feel an inconvenience by staff with poor communication skills. They were visibly annoyed.
These are the tiny details, that would help you get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Constructive feedback, to hopefully help you improve 🙏🏽
Super fast service food came out fresh and hot and was cooked just perfect...staff were amazing and super friendly
Lovely little cafe, great choice of food, friendly staff. Limited seating so be prepared to wait.
Food was prepared fresh but poached eggs were unfortunately overdone and not runny so improvement suggested with the eggs.
Loved the French toast, was delicious.
Overall a great little cafe and worth a try.
Such a nice small little coffee shop that just hits the spot. Its an honest place, genuine and has all round good vibes. Parking was not an issue as you have on street parking all over fore street. The place is small and can get packed quickly, the service is very god and the staff are attentive. Breakfast was great we had Mediterranean and english so we had best of both. Iced coffee was not as great but i guess it will just have to be something different next time. The french toast is one you must try. Fluffy and gorgeous. Just perfect.
Honestly, this was the best breakfast place I've been to. The food tasted extremely fresh and nicely seasoned. The presentation was exciting and nicely plated. Everything is halal. It was comfortable and the decor was very nice. Service was very fast. I definitely will be returning very soon.
Great service and excellent food. I had seen the cafe before the renovation by the new owners. The cafe looks more welcoming and the colours used works really well. Food is wholesome and of high quality. The owners are very engaging which is a nice touch. They have different types of hot and cold beverages and HMC food.
I ordered the full cobbler which consists of... 2x beef sausages, 2x turkey rashers, eggs, toast, beans, 2x hashbrowns, mushrooms and 🍅's. This breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had in the UK. It was absolutely faultless 👏🏼👏🏼. The beef sausages are the best ones I've ever had because it was packed full of flavour and it did not taste dry at all. It was cooked perfectly and so were the turkey rashers. They, too, are the best ones I've ever had because it was so meaty and seasoned so well! 👌🏼👌🏼. The scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious and the hashbrowns had way more substance than other hashbrowns and even the mushrooms were seasoned beautifully! I absolutely loved it as well as the cherry tomatoes, (just wish they gave more beans🤣).

For dessert, I ordered the churros with dulche de leche sauce & icecream. The churros were overcooked but still edible. The aroma of the dulche de leche sauce was absolutely irresistible with the ice cream and if it wasn't for this, I don't think my sis & I would have finished the churros without it🤤. The coffee was standard but the strawberry mojito was very refreshing & I really enjoyed it👌🏼.

Overall, their breakfast is amazing and I can see why there is sucha big hype over it😍 because it's absolutely worth it. The cafe itself is very small but luckily, we didn't have to wait that long as we sat outside but if you were to visit over the weekend, prepare to wait 45 minutes or so. The service was lovely and efficient. They were attentive and polite. It is quite far and I hope they branch out😭🙌🏼.
