Kafe 1788 - London - Photo album

Very lovely Hatian Coffee shop! I ordered a chai tea latte and coconut bread and enjoyed them both. Customer service was so friendly and I loved the vibe & music. So glad I stopped here during my visit in London. Keep up the great work!
Really good Haitian coffee, and a skilled Batista. This place offers a growing selection of events, contributing to the local community. The open mic nights are superb. Would be great to have Decaf coffee as an option, though there is a good range of quality herbal teas.
A casual little coffee shop (Haitian style) located at Crisp Street market. It perfectly delivers the unique multi-cultural atmosphere so typical for this east London place. Service is friendly, feels almost like at home.
Open early, unobtrusive music, fresh and simple food and drinks.
I love this Cafe! The coffee is great and the Haitian food is delicious, rounded out by the always friendly owner Richard. This cafe is cool but without trying too hard to conform to what hipsters expect.
Delicious coffee, and some good lunch options and snacks. One of the very few prides of Chrisp Street Market. I really have a lot of respect for how you are able to maintain such a nice and modern little coffee shop amongst this ugly and unpleasant collection of shops. Please let KAFE 1788 come back
Haven't tried the food but coffee is great. it's quite different to have such a place in Chrisp St. The place also has a space to hire for events such as yoga classes, gallery, meditation, etc. The place is slightly bare but it's slowly finding its identity.
My go-to place around the neighbourhood. A wonderful initiative to bring a bit of Haiti to a special part of London. The coffee is good and well brewed, and so are the food and the exhibitions! All the best.
Delicious and great price! The coffee was great and the houmous/roast veg toastie was incredible. You could easily pay twice the price anywhere else for the same delicious food.
Good coffee and cakes, home made meals, great music, and you can watch independent films, have a relaxing Reflexology or Indian Head Massage session or do a Yoga class during the week. Literally, Kafe 1788 is a wonderful place for our neighborhood.
Absolutely super place. Good coffee. Good food. And such a lovely atmosphere.
Better than this only in heaven. The best coffee I've ever had and some wonderful breakfast. It's not cheap but the price is fair, worth every penny.
I love this cafe! It had some unique free events, hosts film nights and local art. It really improves the Chrisp street area for me.
The red velvet cake is incredible. Conversation in this place is reliably surreal. Excellent skinny flat white. Would recommend massively.
Lovely local coffee place. Very friendly owner. They often serve Haitian food, which is very tasty.
