This was not Courtney's favorite pub, but still a good pub after changing hands, although the previous did a great job with lock ins. So much fun.
The new owners at The Royal Oak have done a wonderful job of the refurbishment in recent months. First visit to a pub since last year, under new management & the place looks amazing, it's like a whole new pub! Staff were attentive and very friendly, drinks brought to table, food was great. Seating out front & great garden. Would definitely recommend a visit.... 5 ⭐
Never had any food. But it's a nice pub. Used to go there back in the 80's before and after Charlton games.

Lovely local pub, just finished a great renovation. Friendly service, great range of drinks, and a cracking food menu as well. Plus we can even go inside now!
Yet to visit, but giving 5 Stars in advance. What I would like to Know is.... Is this the same Royal Oak pub where Arsenal FC (Then names Royal Arsenal) were formed in 1886? Thank you.

Stumbled across this place Last night, Greeted by a friendly Bar Lady, asked to find a table in the garden, Food was great (great food waitress) Drinks on point. Overall a nice few hours out. Highly recommended. Will return when the weather is warmer. 😁
