Service was good but then we were the only customers there at the time. Expectedly our orders were cooked and served quickly.
Ordered a small mix grill, kabuli palau, namak mandi lamb karahi, ghanta ghar chicken karahi, peshawari chappli kebab, peshawari naan bread, and chips. Had peshawari Qahwa and sweet rice at the end on the house. Everything was great, especially the mix grill meat and chicken which were soft and tender. Really loved the spices used in the Curries.
Five in a group with two small eaters. Total bill came to £54. The two curry portions were a tad small ( 1/4kg for £10 each). The kabuli palau portion was decent. All in all, good experience and looking to go again soon.
This was my first ever meal at Khyber Pass Resturant.
Was working locally and thought id try their food.
There is nothing but 'Outstanding" that i cannot say. From the moment i walked in....to the second i stepped out. The customer service and the food was out of this world. Well Done to ALL staff and the owners.
I can see why people rave about this place.
Amazing food as always especially the karahi! Love the complimentary kahwa and the sweet rice. This place is never a disappointment. One of my favourite restaurants by far. If you are looking for authentic karahi from Pakistan, this place is worth a try! :)
Beautiful food, excellent service and the staff are all lovely! I’m a fussed eater but enjoyed everything that was recommended. Thank you for a lovely meal!!
Always same authentic taste. Never been disappionted by food, taste, quality and service. Most desi restaurant can not maintain taste every visit. Best place for family and friends and special occasions, when you do not want to be let down. Very good and polite friendly staff. Waiting time around 20 minutes but all food from prepared from raw. No pre cook tricks like other restuarants.
Amazing food as always especially charsi tikka of khyber bazaar peshawar and chersi karahi! Love the complimentary kahwa and the sweet rice. This place is never a disappointment. One of my favourite restaurants by far. If you are looking for authentic karahi from Pakistan, this place is worth a try! :)
Food was really good and meat was overcooked but it taste good
Customer service was good
We loved the vibe and food here. Chapli kebab and namak mandi was awesome with naan. Although we wanted 1/2kg of namak mandi, it felt quite less though. Plus, kabuli pilaf was okish. Hence, 4 stars. Halal food. Recommended!
Hands down best Shinwari food in UK, we’ve been coming here for years & food quality + service always been 10/10!! I would recommend their charsi lamb tikka for starter with namak mandi (lamb) and for drinks get their lemon soda 👌👌 if you’re into Desi tea, get dood pati (proper tea)
Great for authentic home cooked feel Pakistani food. Even the kitchen smells like a kitchen in Pakistan. Not the cheapest but delicious. Malai tikka boti a must try. Great music which was a really nice touch. The entrance could do with an upgrade/renovation to elevate the place but from a food perspective, it was delicious.
Food was fantastic. Greeted with warm smiles . Starter was a bit small for what's called a large portion. Chapli Kebab was one of the best I've eaten. Chicken 1 kg was lovely to.
Service could have been much faster as we were eating and we had to get our own drinks.
Some of the plates were chipped could do with new one. Some of the cutlery was terrible low quality.
That's my honest opinion
We were 10 adults 8 kids we ordered a full lamb it was slow cooked to soft perfection with great succulent taste! We sat on the floor area with cushions and curtains which made the experience more relaxed and kid friendly. Kids loved it. Great service Would visit again!
One of the best restaurants in East London, smiley stuff, very good hospitality, I tried with my friend large kabuli Palau, Chapli Kebab and Ghanta Ghar Chicken 😍.
Nice decor and extraordinary service, very courteous and professional staff. Food quality was on average side, some dishes were delicious like mix bbq platter was very nice, Chapli kebabs lack flavours, chicken karahi was nice, but mutton karahi was full of bones. Tea tasted great, quite pleasant surprise to see chainak tea pots.
Also seating was congested for a family with kids. Washroom lightings were very dim , quite scary for kids, this can be improved very easily.
Brilliant Taste. Open till midnight. Loved the taste. It is expensive as compared to other Desi restaurants, per head exceeds 20£ easily. Recommended
Basit was serving us food, he was very sweet, nice and accompanying.
It’s an amazing restaurant and food is so so delicious. The staff over there are incredibly friendly and give best service. Chef Baseer cooked the best lamb curry and chicken pulao I ever had. It’s a must visit restaurant.
I had lunch here, they serve very delicious chops❤️
I really loved it
Khyber pass has amazing service, food and quality. We have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Everything is fresh and very tasty. Basit and sitara provided great service and quality. I would 100 percent recommend
Convenient location. The food is justttt beyond tasty, as every bite stimulates the taste buds to their optimum. I tried thier Chicken Karahi n Qabuli Pulao n just loved both of these. On top of that, the ambiance is very nice. I would say it's a very beautiful effort to make Pakistanis feel like home in abroad as the whole restaurant is designed to represent Pakistani culture.
Delicious tender lamb namak mandi karahi, (not much gravy, lamb dryish curry cooked with salt and pepper) very tasty afghan pulao with raisins and fried sweet carrots. Pleasant interior, lovely staff and complimentary kawa sweet green tea with fragrant cardamom. Charsi tikka, lamb cubes also delicious. Fresh tasty naan.
