Service was lack lustre, but we did go at the end of the day which is maybe a valid excuse.
We bought a steak and chips and two cans of coke which came to around £19.
The steak was nicely seasoned and tasty as were the chips. I shared with my son who likes it plain. Had we had it covered in a sauce I think I’d have liked it even more.
All in all a nice steak and chips you can eat on the go!
I have never tried 3D printed, vegan meat before, so I was intrigued.
The staff was really friendly and the "steak" was slowly and carefully cooked, so it had time to develope a nice crust.
The vegan steak was made out of pea protein. Because it was printed (it's not printed in the shop, they buy it and prepare it for you), it had a much better texture than the vegan options I tried before. It was definitely streaky and had a meat like chew to it. The outside was a bit more crispy than a regular steak- which I enjoyed- because it was pea protein.
But what about the taste?
It does have some umami taste and it's juicy enough. There is still a difference to regular meat, but if you're a vegan who's craving steak, this might satisfy you. The price is a bit hefty (20£), but you'll get a very meat-like experience with super friendly staff.
I tried mine with slaw, which was super crunchy.
If you're a garlic lover, you can go for the garlic butter. It has a sharp and veeeery garlicky flavor!
We went to Camden Market on a Saturday afternoon, we were prepared for it to be crowded but still ordering went really quick and easy.
Steak is really good, chips were crunchy and hot, the house sauce for the steak has a lot of Herbs in it and is a little spicy.
Good size for the price, can really recommend for anyone looking for a good and quick steak and chips, didn't have to wait long 👍
Tried the vegan redefined “steak” and chips and they were pretty good. The steak was cooked in a separate pan so not with the traditional alternative which was thoughtful. It was all very tasty if a little over salted for my taste, and the high price might make it a bit inaccessible to be a regular lunch option but worth a try. Staff are friendly.
The food was good, the meat was good quality and well prepared. The queue was not too long, the preparation was quick. I would definitely go again for a meal. Thank you for being able to accommodate my allergy restrictions.
Always spot on and absolutely delicious! You can immediately tell the difference between the quality of the meat and produce compared to other average steak and chip restaurants. The staff are always super friendly and I would highly recommend! 👌🏻🥩🍟
Tastiest steak and chips I’ve tried in a long time. Really enjoyed the chilli butter too!! Staff were so lovely, defo recommend if you’re in the area.
Favourite place to eat on Camden market. Steak is always cooked to perfection, the chips are delicious and you have to try the sauces!!
I always leave honeat reviews and this place was just what we needed on our day out. We felt like treating ourselves and coulsnt resist the smell of fresh stakw on the grill. Well cooked. Friendly staff and fresh chips. Highly reccommend.

Lovely steak and chips...we got it from Groupon.Initially, we had trouble finding it because we were looking at the top name & it said Steak & Chips. Google map said, we were standing infront of the stall. Not until i dropped something on the floor & noticed STAKEhaus at the bottom.🤣 The seller is friendly & polite as well.😊

Great steak and chips here! Had the surf and turf which came with prawns and garlic butter on two of my London visits and haven’t been disappointed. Yes, there is a bit of a wait, but staff are friendly, and the chef couldn’t be more apologetic for the delay! Thanks guys!
