I am a regular customer there and I love their Bread Pudding and their Rye Bread is fantastic. It is nice to see a small Bakery thriving, so much better than the rubbish you buy in the supermrket

Popular for their cinnamon buns. Gutted that I missed out but heard you can pre order and pick up so will try that next time. Order the cheese croissant to enjoy my Saturday commute for only £1.90! Tbh I wished I ordered another one because it was so pleasant and not too cheesy.

My first visit today, and certainly not my last! Friendly staff, super quick service, and delicious pastries. Highly recommended the chocolate and banana croissant, as well as the sausage rolls! Did I mention the bread?🤯

Brilliant bakery and patisserie. The dark sourdough bread was excellent, the pain au Chocolat and the cheese croissant were also very good. There are so many tempting items on display that it's really hard to choose what to buy. The service is also very warm and friendly. I will certainly come back again. Highly recommended.

Absolute delight of a bakery. I ordered two vegan chocolate cakes and they were ready at 8 am, in travel-friendly boxes and absolutely delicious! Staff went out of their way to accommodate my requests too. Cannot recommend enough

this is a fantastic honest bakery with amazing selection of gluten-free seeded bread in lovely small loaves. as you walk in, its like a little hatch area but it's wonderful and they are so friendly there. they also do a great range of vegan and gluten-free cake. highly recommended i grabbed a couple of loaves that i pre-ordered the day before and drove from surrey all the way to stockwell it was well worth it

Amazing pastries, agree they’re some of the best in the Clapham area and worth the walk. I don’t understand the negative reviews about service. It was fast, friendly and polite. I think some people are on a power trip and want to be idolised and worshipped by their shop assistants, aka the cringey American-type of service which is sadly slowly creeping into the UK more and more. The staff weee efficient and in no way rude, they’re busy and they’re doing their job well.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best bakery I have ever been to in the UK!! Sausage rolls are delicious and took me a few orders to realise there was no meat in there. The other favourites include cheese and onion pastie (think that's also vegan or veggie), bread and butter pudding, so light yet intense in cinnamon and spices, pain au chocolat has over a trillion layers, never had anything like it and lastly their sourdough breads and almond crossoints are excellent! Can agree with some posts that staff aren't necessarily warming, but they've been there since the early mornings... and could never be replaced with any terrible supermarket bakery.

This bread, is the best bread I’ve ever tried in London. Highly recommended especially on a Sunday morning when fresh backed. Our favorite is the 5 seed sourdough! (the entire household had to quarantine since Friday and we miss u)

Can’t believe I’ve been in Clapham for 6 years and have only just discovered this place, London’s oldest organic bakery, the bread is baked onsite and it’s fantastic

Fresh baked bread and other assorted treats. Whatever type of loaf you're looking for, they've got it, made fresh and absolutely delicious.

Great value for money and good selection of pastries/bread. We bought a few different things to try and some were great (chocolate cake) others were good/ok (sausage roll/cheese croissant). However with friendly service and great prices I would happily return.

Our family literally lived on the heavenly cinnamon rolls and baguettes during our vacation in Clapham. Wonderful staff who were friendly and welcoming. Wish we could subscribe and have you ship to the Pacific Northwest! Cheers.

A great classic bakery. The Old Post Office Bakery makes the classics and makes them well. Perfection in simplicity. Even something as simple as a fruit bun from here is delicious. Spiced and fruited to perfection. Also, don't forget the tasty bread pudding

I hesitated editing my comment from 3 years ago... But I have to say that I am disappointed and a bit heartbroken. Since the change of ownership, I have seen long-term staff disappear, price rise, opening hours reduce, and importantly the bakery empty out of the incredible variety of bread it used to have. The bread shelves that rose all the way to the ceiling are gone. Only 2-3 kinds of bread loaves last time I came. Compared to 15+ before. Nothing compares 2 U old Old Post Office 💔 Don't get me wrong, the products are still good and they always have lovely people. But still... What a shame!
