A lovely fresh, warm ham & cheese croissant for breakfast along with cappuccino to top it off. Definitely one of the best croissants I've ever tasted. It would be 5 stars if the staff cheered up a bit.

Another excellent Gail's Bakery! I always have to pop in. This time it was super fresh and crispy Almond Croissant. Also took home a tasty baguette and a gluten free sourdough loaf. The quality of their products and friendliness of the people working there are excellent!

This was pretty good, if busy and somewhat depleted in goodies when we arrived at 5.00pm on a Sunday afternoon, but the tea is good and the choice of foodstuffs is generally pretty varied and the service is polite and realtively efficient, and on a lovely autumn afternoon, it's a nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by with a nice hot cup of Earl Grey Tea!

I have developed quite an addiction to this admittedly expensive bakery. I must say that their sourdough is top class and their sweet stuff is heaven. I’d rather spend a few extra quid but make it worth it. Great service and good health & safety routines during the pandemic. Thank you for my first sit down bun after lockdown.

High quality and consistent bakery with hipster touches running through it (soya/oat milk, gluten-free options and good coffee). They carry off the faux-olde-worldy look well. On a quiet day/time it’s a place to linger. On the weekend it’s a muggy hell-hole of braying Hampstead walkers, mums, juggling troupes, random dogs... the place is a mess of queues, staff and people huddled on stools. I hate it, but my wife loves it. Either way their buns and cakes are fab so roll the dice and see if you get a seat.

I go to a lot of Gail's but the staff here went above and beyond. Pamela and Dima were especially lovely, thank you! Great pastries too as always.

Charming little bakery and coffee shop. It blends perfectly with the rest of the shops in Swain's Lane. The bread and pastries are delicious and the staff are really nice, especially Salim who makes the coffee! Perfect spot to meet friends or have a coffee after a long walk in the Heath. Only downside is that it can get rather busy at weekends.

We stopped in for a quick bite. They have great lattes and espresso. The pastries were amazing and the loaf of bread was delicious.

Gail's in Swain's Lane is absolutely fabulous. It's a lovely place to have a coffee with a delicious pastry. There are also sockets in the main area so you can easily sit with your laptop and work the afternoon away. But the best thing is the staff - they are amazing! Salim the barista is incredibly friendly, lovely to talk to and passionate about his job making some really good coffee with latte art. Paula is super-nice, helpful and fun to chat with. All the staff members are great really, making every visit nice and enjoyable. Keep up the great work!

Nice bakery and teas! The tea selection is not very wide but the teapots are pretty large (yay!) Definitely worth a visit if you are craving a hot beverage with something sweet after walking around Hampstead Heath
