Pleasant bar with good selection of drinks and light snacks at lunchtime and evenings. Only open Monday to Friday. Friendly, helpful staff.
Great little bar with a good selection of gins. The music was great too and the bar staff very friendly and helpful - we had a good chat about gins as the barmaid had been to a gin tasting before. Food menu looks interesting too.
The frozen beer glasses make a difference, good wine selection too
I really liked this place. Found it by accident and stopped in with colleagues for a few drinks. The man behind the bar was so nice and my drinks were very affordable (actually,cheap!) Especially in central. The interior was lovely and comfy too. :) Only thing I'd say was the music was too loud for
What a gem. I can't believe I've not found this pub before! It's my perfect place, a proper pub with absolutely lovely staff, but along with that, a more diverse clientele than I expected. Fabulous! I'll be back

A great traditional City pub with the added advantage of having a team that makes punters actually feel welcome. Decent beer too!!
Proper old-fashioned pub in the city with very friendly staff. Like many city pubs, they can close early, but I was there with a relatively small group and they stayed open for another round for us.
Top pub. Took some clients here for a bit of R&R and was surprised at how nice the staff are, and how smart the pub is. The food is great, and the Manager really makes you feel at home, he's a real laugh. I might become a regular.

We hired the Lion for a private event and was the perfect place for a celebration. They have a good selection of drink and pretty good service. If you're looking to hire somewhere exclusively to hire I'd definitely reccomend the Lion
It's nice, about 5.60 a pint which is a little steep even for london. The food is good value when it's on offer but a tad high when it's not but the quality is good.
Really nice food and big portions. Quite small so nice for a quieter gathering if you get there early for lunch that is as starts getting busier 12.30-1pm

I loved this pub, really chilled atmosphere and friendly staff! Its perfect for an after work drink/chat and perhaps even a cheecky cocktal ;) i am deffinatley going back!
