I went there when it was Wetherspoon! No clue how long it has been changed to the new name now.
Had heard so much about the British Breakfast, so had to have it at the best possible place. No regrets for choosing this place.
The food was just delectable. The peas salad, suasages, half-fried eggs, fries, and of course the drinks. All was just yummyy!
Few bad things first: Horribly rude staff. You are working with a popular, old, and reputed food outlet so, you should be ready to help and guide the new customers. You can't simply almost yell at them! Change the tables, please. But keep the food as it is.
I enjoyed my meal here. It was a decent breakfast, not amazing, but good for the price. Would recommend if you would like to eat a nice breakfast out for cheap.
A very nice place, which offers indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and accommodating. There is no music but the place is cosy and comfortable. Outdoor seating closes at 10pm. Far better than tgif and las iguanas because this place mentions how much ml of alcohol goes into your cocktail. The prices are very cheap and worthy.
The food is very tasty and good. The atmosphere is a bit noisy . Good size beer garden . I had a pleasant afternoon . It's worth it spending your money on here
Standard wetherspoons apart from not having to climb to middle earth for a jimmy riddle. Plenty of random characters and a decent outside area. Got lucky with the weather when I went and sat in the sun all day. Food however leaves a lot to be desired !!! Had a burger that tasted like perfume and was accompanied by 8 chips. Not bad for £7 !!!
An honest review.
A good little pub that very obviously served microwaved food (we came on curry night, Thursday). Great outdoor seating as that weather was good and using the app was relatively quick. Serving staff were great although it was a little understaffed and we waited ages (hence the 4 star).
Would come again but not for the terrible food. Would come back for the drinks, atmosphere and helpful staff. Using the app to order is a must.
Lovely, simple and nice place with big garden. Good food and reasonably priced drinks.
I want to approach this from a different angle: looking at my fellow reviewers’ use of the English language (all of whom -by definition- have visited or continue to frequent Spoons), the question arises: how would anyone in their right mind want to frequent these pubs for any length of time anyway??
Top tip: by all means, visit for a quick, reasonably priced drink, BRIEFLY before a good night out. DO NOT, under any circumstances, tarry, particularly after dark…
No frills food, quick and cheery service, extensive choice of drinks at super cheap prices, what's not to like. Me and my 2 kids went during the day one of the days over Easter and it was busy but not crowded. It will be even better when the weather gets warmer because there's a large outdoor space too. Gotta love a Wetherspoons.

Nice Wetherspoon. It was worth a visit for the guest ales and only round the corner from Stratford Station.
Ale was really good quality (I've been in previously for breakfast, and I remember that also being well cooked and presented. (American breakfast).
One member of bar staff seemed to be doing most herself, and she was really trying her best and actually was managing the whole place on her own it seemed, which I think deserves commendation for.
I think I saw the manager too, when I say I think I did it's because she seemed to talk to everyone like they were children and this came across quite rude. Whilst in the public area, she appeared to accuse the girl who was on her own of not starting the dishwasher when asked, when in fact she actually did. Now I wouldn't like this said to me in private by my manager, but this was loudly said, in the public bar...hmm.
Anyway, besides that little glitch, this does seem like a lovely pub. It needs more staffing, though the manager could just maybe lay off a bit. Especially in public.
Well, I never thought I would need to think about it, but I think the floor space in the beer garden is pretty much the same as inside! Fantastic! So, the usual setup inside and the place was very clean and tidy. However the seating options outside are just as varied being out in the open as well as plenty under cover. I wish this spoons was here when I lived in Stratford. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.
The restaurant keeps the level, it's cheap and tasty. Minus in this location a bit long queues to order.
