Tasty food in a bustling and vibrant restaurant. Super busy on the Friday evening we visited and the waiter was understandably quick with us and abrupt, but if you don't mind that a solid restaurant that serves good Vietnamese food
Came as a walk in group of 4 at about 6pm on a Saturday night just before it got busy with dinner service. The server, though pleasant, took near to 30 minutes to take our order for drinks and food. Ordered a good mix of starters and mains, all amazing. Highly recommend soft shell crab. Worth a visit and at a good price too.
Great Vietnamese. The service might be a bit slow when the place is busy, but the food is very tasty. To me they have the best Pho in London... they taste like heaven. One good reason to travel all the way to Shoreditch!

Decent value for money. Seated before 5 which entitles you to a set menu of starter, main and drink for £10.99. We had the chilli squid and the vietnamese spring rolls which were really good. Fried just right, the squid was tender and the spring rolls were still crunchy. The beef pho isn't bad but they do leave out the vital ingredient of Holy Basil. On a cold day, a bowl of hot Pho is amazing though.
Anh Dao is a simple restaurant offering up tasty vietnamese food at a decent price. As we were seated before 5pm, we were offered their 'happy hour' menu which included a starter, main meal and a drink for £10.99. From the selection of 15-20 dishes, we chose the salt and pepper chilli squid, Vietnamese spring rolls and two bowls of steaming beef pho. The two deep fried dishes were very fresh and well seasoned and the bowls of pho definitely hit the spot after walking around in the cold. Overall, a great place to go for some authentic no-frills Vietnamese food.
Very helpful staff. Food was great. Byob for a small fee.
