My favourite ice cream store! Chocolate heaven
I came. I licked. I conquered. Lick Gelato is so handy to the office which is both exciting and dangerous. I headed inwards for a scoop of the cold stuff. I went with the black sesame option after carefully analysing the options. Perfectly fine ice-cream and unfussy service as per the description on Google. It’s refreshing that Lick Gelato is an independent store, and that they offer such an interesting range of flavours. In fact, there’s 24 flavours and they change from time-to-time. Back to the black sesame, there’s a great creamy texture and some lovely savoury nuttiness, without being overly sweet. That’s one more dessert options all licked up.

One gelato ice cream parlour in Soho, that serves those hard to sought out flavours, everything made are all natural ingredients. Lick in Soho, nearby to Soho square is a small independent shop with 24 traditional and unique flavours. Where else can you find durian, lychee flavour gelato? Some people have a love-hate relationship with durian.

The lychee one I got is prominent but quickly fades away, the gelato is seriously smooth with no lumps. My friend’s green tea and durian flavour were better more of an icy based ice cream then milk creamy kind.
Great gelato and service to boot!. As a lover of good ice cream, coming to try out Lick was inevitable. On arrival, we were offered tasters of practically everything on display by one of the proprietors - all very tasty! In the end, I still opted for my two gold standards for any new place; vanilla and dark chocolate.
Whilst wary of jinxing things, I have to say that it was some of the loveliest ice cream I've had in a very long time; the vanilla was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet (too much sugar being my biggest complaint of all the gelaterias in Soho and Covent Garden), and the chocolate rich, dark and delightfully riddled with flecks of real chocolate. I sincerely hope that these flavours don't change, because I'll be coming back just for them. Freshly brewed Italian coffee (Illy) is also available, in addition to a number of dangerous looking pastries.
I have to point out also that the two proprietors are super friendly; we weren't hurried at all, and were allowed to shelter for almost an hour from the cold outside over our ice cream and coffee.
Highly recommended.
Wow, the sundaes here are amazing!! Loads of chocolate sauce and fruit are piled onto ice cream of your choice served in a warm and toasty waffle bowl. It's the perfect place to pop into after a long day and unwind with some fresh and delicious ice cream.
They had some nice flavours but most of them were not available. The generic ones were usually available but still tasted really nice.
Very large servings of tasty ice cream. Not a huge selection, but it's more quality over quantity. I had the smallest cone they sold with 2 large scoops. I was a happy bunny indeed.
Lovely ice cream. Lots of interesting flavours which I think is great! Wonderful customer service, the man who served us was friendly, fun and attentive. Would definitely come back for some lychee ice cream!
The ice cream here is awesome. It cost £5 for three scoops. good value for money in central London. They have a large selection of flavours. Would recommend
