So perfect dinner with girls. They’ve collected only best things of authentic east-asian barbecues along with brilliant ideas of dessert served by lively staff. “Harami” is my favorite! Highly recommend!

Great ambiance, really friendly staff and of course incredible food. Quality of the meats was perfect easily rivalling good ones in Japan itself. 6 person menu was great value for money. Will come again.

Great food for sure. Lovely barbecue options for people. A lot of veggie options too. But felt quite oppressive inside. Felt like it was in a dungeon. Low levels of lighting and really felt a bit depressing the atmosphere inside. Over all good was good and the location was easy to find too. But I think going once there is good. I won’t return again.

I’ve visited this restaurant on Sunday - Food was pretty good! Beef was really tasty. Spicy cucumber wasn’t that good though. Service could look more happy and more talkative;-) Atmosphere was nice, just the Latino music in the background didn’t match the food… overall it’s good restaurant with nice food🙂

Lovely Japanese bbq restaurant during happy hour price all of Monday, all other weekdays during lunchtime and after 9pm! It’s very fun to cook your own meat! The meat are marinated well and there are tons of sides to choose from too!

One of the best meals I have ever had so far outside of Japan, also one of the best restaurants in London as well. I like the atmosphere of this yakiniku place here. The food was served right on time with the drink. Staffs are very attentive and super helpful. Once they noticed that the temperature was too high, they offered to change the grill immediately. Lastly, Japanese rice was to die for, Fantastic!!!

Had an amazing time as my first experience with Japanese bbq. Kintan Oxford Circus is a very good location close from the tube station, and the bustling environment inside is accompanied by good music and comfortable, spacious tables with built-in grills. We had a generous and richly favoured bibimbap along with a selection of veggies and chicken for grilling. My favourite part has definitely been the desserts: green tea tiramisù with scoops of ice cream! The manager and staff are very friendly and attentive to each customer, and have been very welcoming and ready to help. I’ve loved the food at Kintan and will be back for more future occasions.

Definitely one of my all time favourite restaurants in London. Just behind Oxford Circus this inconspicuous restaurant looks unassuming from street level but once you head downstairs you are transported to Asia. High quality food to BBQ yourself at your table as well as quality beer offers (including my favourite Pilsner Urquell) served in an ice bucket. Everything was just perfect.

Most of the food was so delicious but one of the marinades wasn't nice at all very sweet but that might be me being fussy. The bbq booths were so cute and felt really private and cozy. However, most of the staff didn't seem happy at all to be there I know what it's like to work in a restaurant but a lot of them just looked so sad to be there. I will definitely go again but avoid any meats in the marinade. Happy hour also made dishes very affordable.

We ordered a set for the first time, but didn’t like some of the dishes from the set. The second time we just ordered the single dishes, it was cheaper and better. We love the yaki shabu beef and the short ribs and the prawns. Remember to visit at happy hour (all day on Monday, Tuesday to Sunday 11.30am -6pm, 9pm to close) if you can, we went for lunch on a Sunday, it’s so much cheaper. The drink was also cheap, a pint of asahi at happy hour is only £4, you don’t usually see this kind of price in London these days. Loved it, will definitely visit again.

Really entertaining family dinner. Staff were all very friendly. We were visited by the General Manager Sushil to check if we were enjoying our dinner. The set meal we had was fantastic!!! We all loved the beef bowl!! It was really fun because you get to cook your own meat. And in the end we have the smores dessert.

Good selection of barbecue. Its a good atmosphere and just fun barbecuing with friends and family. the staff is very friendly. The entrance was a bit awkward where no was available on the front desk and had to find our own way into the basement where the main seating actually is!!

Great place to visit if you want to have a Japanese BBQ. Lots of variety and a set menu too. All the ingredients are fresh and the marinade on the meat is delicious. We found that the set menu for two people was a good option for the four of us as we also ordered a few extra items off the a la carte menu too. The s’mores for dessert were yummy as were the apple gyoza with vanilla ice cream. Great place to go with kids as they love cooking everything themselves. Excellent service as well. Definitely book ahead as it gets extremely busy.

The food was SO GOOOD! We ordered the Kintan set for 4 and the variety in this set was great, the food & meat was fresh and you get a WA cafe tiramisu for dessert!! I would definitely recommend to make a reservation in advance as we were lucky we managed to walk in and get a table on a Saturday - we waited an hour but it was so worth it! The service was also fantastic, shoutout to server Rickey 5/5

I loved everything in this restaurant. We booked our table for 1330. However, we arrived earlier around 1245, and we were still able to sit at our table. We first asked if it was okay to be earlier than the booked reservation time. We had to wait first in the queue so they can usher us to our table. We had a “private room table”, did not expect it but I loved it. Privacy for us. We ordered the Samurai Package, and we got all sorts of meat. And upgraded our desert to Green tea tiramisu. All the meat, they were tender, melts in your mouth and flavorful! I loved the choices. They also have corn with butter, and their miso soup was perfect!! The best miso soup I have had. The highlight was aside from the beef, the green tea tiramisu was heaven!!! Perfect balance! 👍🏻👍🏻 Would come back to this place to try the rest of their meat.

Amazing experience for a really good price. Went for the Ninja Course (they kindly swapped out Tiger Prawns Garlic for Spicy Chicken due to allergies). The best BBQ items for us were the Rosu Sliced Rib Eye Ponzu and the Garlic Butter Kalbi Short Rib. The Karaage was superb as well. Great service overall and highly recommended!
