In love with this place . Awesome tea with authentic Turkish flavors . The pastries are always freshly made and served at reasonable prices and with the help of a very friendly and professional staff.
Simit Sarayi is a great Turkish Cafe with excellent Simits in various guises - my favourite being the pictured simit with white cheese and tomato which makes for a perfect on-the-go snack. This outlet at the Bond Street tube stop on Oxford Street has ample seating space to be able to sit and snack onsite with a good Turkish tea in its characteristic tulip shaped glass.
Mariette El-Soury Massabni (Les Délices De Mariette)
+4
Very good place at Oxford street, I have tried many bites. They were all fresh, crunchy and they tasted very nice. I liked the spinach stuffed rolls and the cheese. Amazing
If anyone calculate the price with lira then it is really expensive. But if you are in England it means you are spending pound and in that condition I can sincerely say, Simit Sarayi worth it.
Nice cosy turkish cafe. Even wonderfully presented baguette sandwiches, savouries and cakes. Loved the whole experience and would love to come back to try other offerings . The staff is polite and mannered.
Have recently been to London eye and their outlet there was really good. Their bbq chicken baguette, potato borek and spinach borek was what we had tried and was lip smacking.❤️
Londradaki evimiz oldu.
It is a bit expensive and the place is small. There is no proper place to sit and enjoy. It is central. The people are nice. Turkish patisserie is delicious. I definitely Recommend it to try.
Ordered 4 chicken sandwiches that were heated but served cold from the inside. The taste was average.
On the good side, this place has an eye pleasing decoration and is clean. The staff moreover were friendly to us .
Recommended for quick snacks on the go at fair prices.
Choco pop with peanuts. OMG!! It was sinful. Also tried their on the house cookie and it was yummy too. I guess one of the best bakery chains in London.
Good place to have a snack while on the Oxford street , visited couple of times, really liked the sausage roll didn’t like the fact that they charge VAT on every individual thing that you sit and eat there.
Yum yum yum!
Quick, delicious, affordable prices.
You can’t help but walk inside with their delicious display catching your attention! We had the sausage roll(delicious) and one plain Simit and one Cheese filled Simit. Mouthwatering!
Always a busy branch and you’re expected to queue. service is relatively fast and the options are many. The tables aren’t the cleanest even though there is someone cleaning all the time.
Had simit, rolls and cheese pie which all tasted average except for the simit; it was excellent.
I’m a fan of their Turkish tea!
Great baguettes and sausage rolls. Thats all I ate this time but surely a revisiting place. It is a little pricy compared to other snack cafes but still I found it totally worth it. Great for a quick snack. Cheers!
Simit Sarayi is originally a Turkish restaurant and it has several branches in London.
Ambiance: casual place to chill with friends
Menu: The London branch menu is consistent with the original Turkish restaurant menu. We ordered the crispy beef roll and the chicken parmesan sandwich. The beef roll was super delicious but contains lots of butter and is oily. If you don’t like oily food, this roll is not for you. The chicken parmesan sandwich is super delicious as well; however, one downside is that the bread is too hard.
Service: self service
Prices: the prices are not consistent with the currency equivalent of the Turkish currency to pounds. However, it is a not bad price for a restaurant in London. Also, the prices vary between dine-in and take away options, even though the restaurant is self service.
Recommendation: We recommend Simit Sarayi for a casual quick bite with friends and family! It also works perfectly for tourists craving for a quite yummy bite!
Great place for breakfast and coffee .. had feta borek.. cheddar melt.. feta pretzel.. all tasted great .. except the cheddar melt needed more cheddar
Simit Sarayi is simple eatery with fresh baked goods, coffee etc. I had no plans to enter and this lady outside made me try a Potato Borek (German Potato Snack). Its heavenly. While was in London, a hard core coffee drinker turned a semi Hot chocolate person only from Simit Sarayi. The wait staff is very well behaved, the plating and serving is quite nice, its buzzing with so much energy that your coffee will add up and keep you energized the whole day. The decor is quite appealing too. Go to the Sarayi for Hot chocolate, Potato Borek and some nice people. :-)
So first UK visit and the also the first cafe to visit in London after a hectic 3 hour shopping at Primark. Simit Sarayi, a beautiful cafe bistro offering great variety of cakes, pastries and coffee choices.
Ambience and Service:
Considering overall setup, it is simple but elegant. Comfortable seating arrangement and a cool place to hangout with friends. Was highly impressed with the display of different food items, makes up your satiety levels. Service was fast and staff was very humble and customer friendly.
Food:
We had cafe latte and cappuccino both having good sweetness level and texture. Strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu cake one of the best i ever had in my life. Smooth and just melted in your mouth. Overall pricing was also quite ok.
Nice place to go and have a cup of coffee along with some delicious pastries and rolls. Don't miss it!!

Early on in my job hunt, I roamed around main streets looking for occasional bites and comfy seating. Simit Sarayai was a fair choice. Originally starting out in Turkey selling simple bagels, the chain has exploded onto the global stage, with 10,000 employees and stores all over the Northern Hemisphere. However, there was only one (visible) employee in the Mayfair store at lunch time, and he had a tough time keeping up with the orders as shoving sandwiches in the toaster was time-consuming. I went with the chicken mayo cheese baguette, toasted. All the ingredients are fine, but it lacks a level of excitement. The bread is good, and all the levers are there, but a pesto could have helped elevate it to something more memorable. It’s a huge size, so at least you don’t have to be hungry whilst you think about it.
Tried Turkish tea and Tahini swirl. Turkish tea is just back tea and Tahini was tasty but it's quite heavy. If you take one, you won't feel hungry for long.
Great collection of Turkish baking delights and great to have halal options for this great cafe. The seating area needs some work as you would have some tables obstructing the register sometimes. Most of what we had was really wonderful.
The perfect breakfast on the go when feeling nostalgic about your last vaccation in Turkey. Pretty authentic taste, rich variety to choose from, and great strong black tea just the way I love it with a good simit! A much healthier option than the famous doughnut on the go ☺
Awesome Turkish food.. good place for breakfast as a quick bite anytime. Must try the Turkish tea and coffee. The pastries are worth a try too on a non-calorie conscious day 😋
Love this place... Always so spoilt for choice. Huge selection of Turkish bakery products. Lots of grab and go items on offer!
Must try the simits available in a range of fillings or plain, kind of resemble pretzels! Enjoying my apple and walnut loaf!
I love this place. The borek, the rolls, the coffee, everything is superb. Go with the simple ones, it's the best. It's become my must visit cafe on bond street.
Finally! Found something I loved in London!
The location on Oxford St was very popular and for good reason. Their baked goods are amazing! I only tried the feta borek which once heated reminded me of delicious similar pastries I've had in Romania. Looooved it!
My husband had a beef pastry which he also loved and would be a fan of if we had stayed in London longer.
Do yourself a favour and try it while you're shopping and need a pick me up.
Good Turkish place for grabbing some food on the go. I tried their butter croissants and feta cheese filled in a bagel - both of them were nice. One can also sit and sip some Turkish tea. Definitely worth a visit.
I love this place!
My favourite to date is the wrap with sujuk it's got jalapeño in 'em.
I've tried the rose borek with feta cheese. Love the sweet nd salty sharpness from the feta cheese.
The borek with potato - not so much
The simit pesto (personally I thought this to be sweet) but it wasn't. Meh.
It's a great lunch or mini snake depending on what you order. It's very filling no matter what the order. I enjoy trying different food from different cultures within the city instead of the common cafe shops where you'd get your common flat sandwiches or pasta? It's been too LONG!
I like the menu ALORT. BAHT for some reason the staff don't like heating the food enough? What's up with that?
I like my pastry hot nd everythang melting together creating this explosion of flavours!!
I've been to this branch most of the times 'cause this is my area nd it's not a travel to get to but Everytime I order something nd ask the staff to heat it extra (I don't even mind waiting) it's never 'warm' so it feels like I'm eating cold pastry hence I taste the THICK LAYERED PASTRY which makes me feel soooooo fat 😩🔫
Otherwise all is good.
What a refreshing change from a traditional breakfast! I love simit under all its shapes. My favorite is the one with cheese. Try the cheddar and olives here, along with tea and a fig biscuit. Simple yet absolutely delicious!
Being a huge fan of Turkish food, I had been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got to over the weekend!
My friend and I shared the potato Borek, a Feta Cheese pastry and a Simit.
I am a fan of all things bread so I was looking forward to the Simit. It did not disappoint! You can enjoy Simit with other dishes but I ate it on its own and loved it just the same. I can imagine it would taste even better had it just come out of the oven and been more softer.
The potato Borek was so flavorful and yet so light, it was gone in a few seconds between me and my friend.
Same goes for the Feta Cheese pastry. The pastry itself was like a baked lasagna of sorts. It was layers of pasta with a feta cheese filling which had been baked together to give a nice overall crust. It was quite unique and very delicious.
Overall, I am happy with my experience and the prices were not too bad either. I look forward to going back and trying their other selections in the future.
Sarayi, nice central location space, still not costly affair!
Did not try much of the things, but Borek Potatoes is the one I liked a lot.
Really value for money place.
Good service, delicious food, you'll be really smiling while stepping out from here, that's for sure! :)
Variety of breads is really nicely maintained on the lines of Turkish food, and unique ones...
Amazing little place located at the entrance of Bond Street station. A really nice place for snacks, dessert or coffee whilst shopping . The food is really nice. They don't serve halal though.
Simit is well-known Turkish traditional food and I am really proud to see the Simit Sarayı in the heart of London although it is four times expensive compared to its price in İstanbul. It is crispy and yummy. Definitely worth to try. Especially the one with feta cheese...
The tastes are unbeleivably delicious. Even the plain "simit" is great. Simit sandwiches with feta cheese are fantastic. But the system is terrible. It is really difficult to be able to order something. Anyhow it worths to try.
A fresh addition to the bond street shopping centre. Loved their coffees, meat rolls, special "simit" bread and fresh orange juice. However not as good as the simit sarayi i tried in Belgium in the first half of my trip.
I couldn't resist the smell of the sandwiches and baked breads. Went in and sampled a small piece of a sesame covered bread filled with Cheddar cheese and olive. Waw is all I can say.
Looking forward to next time where ill sample the cheddar chese and sojok.
Simit Sarayi is a lovely cafe/patisserie to sit and enjoy a wide variety of delicious Turkish snacks and savouries after a stroll on Oxford Street. There’s a mini seating area inside to relax with a traditional Turkish coffee. You will not miss this mini cafe which is just opposite John Lewis, most of the times buzzing with people! Try their delicacies such as Tahini spiral, Simit and Potato Roll. There’s good selection of cakes including Tiramisu and Pistachio cake.
Lovely little Turkish pastry shop. Beautiful selection of savoury bites, sweet pastries and cakes. This cake I had was absolutely delicious, beyond my expectations. Also they have great choice of teas, coffees and hot drinks. It is perfect for a quick stop on your shopping spree. The only downfall is that the area is very dirty, tables are not clear regularly and the disposal area is piled up with trays, plates and cups... not a pretty sight, but all in all is great value for money and considering what it is, you can't have too high expectations.
Best place to sit and have a rest after a long day of shopping or in between. The food is tasty and fresh. Turkish coffee is nice . Always go back if I'm in an area that has this bakery around.
Although a chain, Simit Sarayi manages to capture the authentic flavour of Turkish and Mediterranean pastries. The filo bake is done beautifully, very similar to what you'd get where these pastries come from, and the fillings are very tasty. It's reasonably priced, although on the top side of reasonable. They could do with having more coffee options (e.g. ice coffee). Try the cheese pastry, highly recommended.
Absolutely wonderful place. Great stuff nice menu. Nice staff and great Turkish tea
This is a cute place with tasty desserts and coffee. Moderate prices. Friendly staff
Loved the place ! Staff is so friendly.
I had cheese roll and the famous simit stick
Must try with lot of sesame
Love it !!! Must visit for good food and drinks
I tried the red velvet cake, so yummmm
Visit this place for sure :)
You may try Turkish culinary baking here. I love their Turkish tea and of course the simit which is truly Turkish delicacy.
Some people find this place expensive but i believe their location and quality of food is making it expensive.
They serve a delicious breakfast options. I tried the Crispy Borek Feta Cheese and it was GREAT!
Fresh and delicious! Love everything in here! I ll definetely come back!
Always enjoy the food here. Great variety of items and the pastries are great. The cheese spiral, sausage roll and tuna baguette are my favourites. The orange cookie also very nice
